Degrassi Is Re-Using Its Old Star Alex Steele In Season 11

Degrassi Is Re-Using Its Old Star Alex Steele In Season 11

Every few seasons, Degrassi: The Next Generation smartly graduates its seniors and brings in a new crop of “grade nines” (freshmen). Degrassi: Now or Never Didn't Kill Adam, Has No Balls

In place of my usual Degrassi recap, I’m going to post my reactions to the season finale for Degrassi: Now or Never. Because let’s be honest — we didn’t care about anything but who would die. There’s a good chance it’ll be trans kid Adam (Jordan Todosey)! More »

The Dos and Don'ts of Drama, with 'Degrassi': Men and Women Can't Be Friends!

“Should’ve Said No” parts 1 and 2 were basically Degrassi‘s take on When Harry Met Sally: Dave and KC, both attached guys, tried to justify being friends with hot single girls, when it’s obvious that they want to cheat on their respective girlfriends. Meanwhile, Clare and Jake are playing out the No Strings Attached/Friends with Benefits game of “we can make out and it won’t mean anything” — except when he heads to the movies with Clare’s bitchy newspaper boss Katie. Although there weren’t any fistfights or drug comas, everyone was still in good, dramatic form this week. More »
