This video of the Broadway cast of The Lion King breaking into song on the New York subway just caused my eyes to get all watery, so I need to share it with you. More

This theory about The Lion King is a little supernatural, but it actually explains a surprising amount of the movie’s plot points. More
I think a lot of my fellow ’90s kids would agree with me when I say that hearing Disney songs, especially ones from movies that came out when I was a kid, instantly puts me in a good mood. That’s doubly true when the song is something as majestic as “The Circle of Life.” So watching the Australian cast of the Lion King stage musical start singing it spontaneously on a plane gives me all the feels. There are many things in this world that I’m able to handle. Small to medium-sized paper cuts? No biggie. This Pet Collective remake of The Lion King, starring tiny kittens and pure joy? Abort, abort; cannot handle. More
Obviously this is a ploy to make lightning strike twice (or five times), but we’re the ones who win! More
Did you even know that there was a 3-D version of Lion King being re-released in theaters? Neither did we until very recently, but suffice to say it’s a head-scratcher. Why the need to mess with a childhood favorite, and will people even shell out the money to see it? Ah, Father’s Day: A Hallmark holiday, but a nice idea nonetheless. True, your dad doesn’t have to be a superhero, a badass, or even your actual dad in order to be worthy of celebration (never underestimate the worth of a dad-like figure!), but let’s face it: It would be pretty cool to have one of these unusual dudes as your father. Here’s to these and all the other dads out there. Happy Father’s Day! More
Unlike the creepy lipstick crab we featured a few weeks ago, here’s a piece of makeup art that doesn’t travel into the uncanny valley. Artist Katie Alves recreates iconic Disney settings — Snow White, Aladdin, The Nightmare Before Christmas – in the tiny space of two eyelids. My personal favorite is Tangled for the many tiny golden lanterns, but this Lion King piece is so impressive, down to the detail of Rafiki holding Simba up to the sun. More
Hannah Montana star Emily Osment, gave Disney 365 a behind the scenes tour of The Lion King on Broadway show. Now this is a show I would go to New York to see! I love the Lion King.
