It is very rare for anyone to be able to say, “I can speak for everyone here…” accurately. But I think I can actually speak for everyone by saying, we were all shocked when we found out that Snooki is pregnant. And even more shocked to find out that MTV cast Snooki and JWOWW on a Jersey Shore spin-off simply called Snooki & JWOWW. How could these two guidettes — best known for boozing and smushing — possibly pull off their own show? And how could they do it with a pregnant Snooki.

So the first photos of Snooki and JWoww‘s Jersey City apartment (the one where their new reality show Snooki & JWoww takes place) are out, and it looks surprisingly bleak inside for something presumably paid for by MTV. Poorly done wallpaper, cheap-looking furniture, and a pervasive sense of dread permeate each picture. I’m guessing this is at least partly because they had JWoww and Snooki do the interior design themselves (whose idea was that?) but whatever the cause, I think the network could have sprung for a slightly plusher environment for two of the its biggest cash cows.
