With such a recognizable title that exactly mirrors the famous Disney movie, I assumed that Sleeping Beauty — starring Emily Browning, who replaced Mia Wasikowska — was a modern-day remake. But Julia Leigh‘s new indie more closely resembles the play and movie House of the Sleeping Beauties: Browning plays a student who turns to prostitution, going to live at a home where gentleman callers choose their favorite girls.
