I love watching actors screw up. I’m not really sure why. Maybe it’s because it makes them a little more human; maybe it’s because in my other life, I work with them a lot; or maybe it’s just schadenfreude. In any event, though, outtakes reels are my favorite part of DVD releases, purely because I am given license to laugh at actors as they continually screw up for anywhere from two to ten minutes, and that’s FUN.
