This week was the first week of live performances with The Voice’s Top 12! If you’re reading and not from LA, there’s been a major heat wave this week. Carson Daly made this EXTRA obvious because the AC apparently blew out wherever they film the show. I guess he wanted to explain why people were sweating through their 30 pounds of makeup. More
This week The Voice had their KNOCKOUT rounds! Which is really an “exciting” way to label another elimination round before the audience can vote. On a previous recap, I may have thought that the talent didn’t stand out as much as the judges’ chemistry but boy, was I wrong. More

Last night, The Voice wrapped up the Battle Rounds! I expected this to be the most exciting night with the biggest matchups, but didn’t you feel like these were all the castoffs? More
So last night’s episode of The Voice featured some of the best battle performances I’ve heard in the past two seasons of my watching this show. What’s weird though is that the battles sounded more like people were working together rather than competing against each other. I think it made the performances much better but on the other hand, it made the decisions THAT much harder and broke my heart several times when I liked both contestants. More

Welp, just as I thought this season of The Voice was gonna blow, everyone comes out and surprises me! Though I’ve loved the addition of Shakira and Usher as new judge counterparts to Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, none of the singers seemed to have any unique personalities. Even host Carson Daly showed more flavor, earning him the title of The 5th Beatle by Adam. More
