The success of the event is a testament to Seth’s crew of super-stellar comedy writers,* one of whom is Chappelle’s Show co-creator Neal Brennan. Neal posted this video about getting to meet the Obamas at a cocktail reception (he greeted our President with a “Hey Man,” and now he’s on the No-Fly List) — and goodness is Barack Obama ever an awesome guy. Last night, Saturday Night Live head writer/Weekend Update host Seth Meyers delivered a hilarious speech at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The WHCD (aka Nerd Prom) is the closest thing politicians get to a Friar’s Club Roast.
