Today is Robyn’s 34th birthday, so a celebration is obviously in order. So in conjunction with the epic b-day party we’re throwing for her in our head, we’ve also picked seven Robyn songs that are the perfect soundtrack for seven different kinds of parties. More
Is it cool if I unironically really like the new Lonely Island music? Cause I kind of think I do, and their new video for ‘Go Kindergarten’ makes me even more sure. More
“That’s the amazing thing about our costume department. You can call them at two in the morning and they’ll have a pink furry sweater ready for you in fifteen minutes.” More
Everyone’s passing around this video of  two sisters singing Robyn’s “Call Your Girlfriend.” There’s no doubt that 12-year-old Lennon and 8-year-old Maisy can sing. And yes it’s pretty cool that they’ve pulled off Erato’s empty container drumming version of the song. But in this day and age where every two-year-old can jam out to pop music in their car seat, it’s not enough to impress me. More
On Saturday night, Swedish pop star Robyn gave a characteristically amazing performance as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. For her performance of “Call Your Girlfriend,” she used basically the same choreography as in her video directed by Max Vitali, but the sheer awesomeness of her moves in a live setting made me watch the video over and over again. And because of this, I realized. This song is about an imaginary conversation Robyn’s having with herself. More
You don’t just dance like nobody’s watching, you dance like nobody’s watching while watching the love of your life kiss somebody else. But you don’t go home and cry about it, you keep dancing and then you go write a song about it.
Your record label drops you after 10 years of working together, so you create your own label and release an album twelve months later. It goes to number one in Sweden. Okay maybe this exact situation didn’t happen to you – but you know, something similar. More
Have I ever told you about the time I saw the Swedish pop star Robyn in concert? First of all, I’ve never seen a crowd so insanely pumped, so that was fantastic, but the best part? Halfway through a song, Robyn paused to eat a banana. Potassium first, kids! Plus, the lady has great style, as is evidenced by this crop of photos. More
The Sasquatch Music Festival went down over the weekend in Washington state (we can only imagine the smells going on during this), and Swedish singer Robyn performed alongside bands like The Flaming Lips and Wilco. How cool does she look? We once saw her stop midway through a set, pull out a banana, eat it, and then resume singing. Delightful.
Robyn‘s new single, “Indestructible” has a video! In it, the Swedish singer wears some kind of weirdo tube contraption with colored liquids flowing in and out. Is this the future of mood rings? (Something, something IKEA joke.) The video contains some mildly graphic girl-on-girl action, FYI.
Kelly Clarkson‘s “Since You’ve Been Gone” remains one of my favorite karaoke songs that I’ll never sing, and Swedish pop star Robyn‘s “Dancing On My Own” is the latest in a string of successful comeback singles post-”Show Me Love.” Put them together and what do you have? Magic. Non-Ketamine-induced magic.
Over the weekend we cranked up the AC to cool off; meanwhile, Jenny McCarthy cranked up the heat in Vegas by flirting up a storm, Crushable has learned. A spy spotted the former outre Single Life host – who recently … More

Robyn’s Got A Video For Her New Single – “Dancing On My Own,” not to be confused with the seminal “Dancing With Myself” by Billy Idol. Though their hair is sort of similar. (via The Awl)
