John Edwards Renews Bid For Worst Human, Proposes To Rielle Hunter

John Edwards has really one person to thank for his shockingly quick fall from grace in the lead up to the 2008 election: Rielle Hunter. The photographer and general crazy person informed the world that Edwards was her baby daddy and ruined his political ambitions in one fell swoop. And how does John repay her? Apparently by proposing to her mere days after his wife Elizabeth Edwards died of cancer.

Yesterday, Elizabeth Edwards passed away after a six year battle with cancer.

And the world was collectively sad, or at least paying their respects. Except for Rielle Hunter, John Edwards‘ mistress. A source tells Radar:

“Rielle has been very patient through all of this. She still believes that John is her soul mate, and she thinks that they’re going to get married.”
