‘Real Housewives’ Quotes That May or May Not Be Stolen From a Christian Comedian

'Real Housewives' Quotes That May or May Not Be Stolen From a Christian Comedian

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christian comedian Jeff Allen (aka Jeff Mishler), is suing NBC Universal (which includes Bravo) for stealing his trademarked phrase “happy wife, happy life.” If you remember on the first season of Real Housewives of New Jersey, star Teresa Giudice‘s husband Joe Giudice, busted out the saying when Teresa asked him for his opinion on whether or not she needed breast implants. Additionally, Kyle Richards Umansky (of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) said that “happy wife, happy life” was also her husband’s motto. When Kyle said this on the show, the icon at the bottom read, “It’s the housewives’ unofficial motto” and directed viewers to Bravo’s website. More »

My first thoughts were, “Jesus, hasn’t Bravo learned?! First Washington D.C. and now it looks like Miami will follow in their tragic footsteps.” I’m not necessarily against a new city, but I had a bad feeling about the two aforementioned Real Housewives disasters, and I got a bad feeling about San Francisco.

My fears were quelled when it was announced that Bravo is not casting Real Housewives of San Francisco. More »
