The Cast Of Girls Keeps It DIY At Their NYC Premiere With Hand-Completed Signs

Whoever’s in charge of marketing HBO’s hotly anticipated Lena Dunham/Judd Apatow collaboration Girls is doing a good job making their social media presence fit the show’s “indie” aesthetic. Exhibit A: at last night’s NYC premiere, rather than hire a professional photographer to take and upload pictures of the cast and crew looking awesome on the red carpet, they took what appeared to be camera phone pictures for a gallery called “The cast shares their Unfiltered GIRLS Moments on the Red Carpet of the Girls Premiere in New York .” They also gave everyone signs with phrases they had to complete themselves, which served both to introduce the cast and hint at what their characters might be like.
