It’s that time of year again when everyone gathers around red carpet pre-shows, reviews their picks for Best Picture, and bemoans a loss to their favorite star. It’s Oscar time and for this 81st annual Academy Awards, there seem to be quite the list of contendors. But despite the time-honored ceremony highlighting the work (or PR efforts) for the best actors of our time, the show has also highlighted some much-anticipated celebrity pregnancies.

The red carpet may be all about the dress, but in a handful of years, the occasion has also showcased some talented soon-to-be mommies.
