I had some sympathy for Miley Cyrus when she first started getting backlash for bringing that homeless guy to the MTV Video Music Awards, but now that she’s getting so defensive and refusing to take responsibility for the fact that she made a mistake, I’m really losing patience with her. More

Remember that time that Miley Cyrus sent a homeless guy up onstage to accept her award at the VMAs this past weekend? Well next time she wants to attempt a grand gesture like that, she should probably make sure that the kid is actually homeless. Facepalm. More
Silly old me, when I was watching the VMAs last night, I kept thinking that it was boring and nothing was happening. But by the cold light of day, I can see that there was more going on last night than caught the eye — like Miley Cyrus calling Ed Sheeran an asshole! More
For people who had zero percent business being at the the VMAs last night, the Kardashian-Jenners sure couldn’t be bothered to look interested. Kim, Kendall and Kylie were caught texting during the show’s Ferguson tribute, which is a new low — even for them. More
Once upon a time, long ago, Nicki Minaj completely missed her quick change at the Video Music Awards. Except it wasn’t long ago — it was just now, it was dangerously close to a nip slip, and she handled it like a champ. More
There are many ways that someone can become an international pop idol, including being ridiculously talented, selling your soul and firstborn child to Simon Cowell, or copying what worked for someone before you. Pop music newcomer Austin Mahone, knows all about that last one because, oh my God, he is Justin Bieber (if Justin Bieber were reeeally into beanies.) More
Can we petition to have Miley Cyrus’ name officially changed to Oh Brother? First name Oh, last name Brother? Like North West, she wouldn’t even need a middle name. I say this because that’s just about the only reaction I have to anything Miley says or does these days. Besides an eye roll. But Oh Brother has a better ring to it, if you ask me. More
I am confused. All the news this morning is that Wiz Kkalifa and Amber Rose “confirmed” their pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards last night. And yes, the couple was there and Rose was very obviously carrying a child. Her skintight dress was not exactly trying to hide anything. But I’m confused as to why anyone considers this news. I thought she was just there, being pregnant, because that’s what she happens to be right now. I assumed this because I can’t imagine anyone trying to recreate the pregnancy announcement that happened at the VMAs last year. More

I’m honestly a bit baffled by Lindsay Lohan‘s Twitter missive requesting a meet-up with Chris Brown. What could possibly compel a person to want a relationship with someone who physically assaulted his girlfriend so badly her eyes were swollen shut, then never so much as hinted at feeling remorse? It seems just about everything Chris has ever done — from the Rihanna incident to smashing the windows of the Good Morning America studios to his general whiny opinion that he’s been victimized by the media — has been a giant red flag embroidered with the words “DO NOT DATE.” More
