About a month ago, it came out that Marvel Comics was tossing around the idea of producing a series of short films centered around a handful of its less-familiar characters. And hey, guess what? They’ve already made a couple of them! It turns out that these one-shots are less about spotlighting obscure characters and more about filling in some of the gaps of the upcoming epic The Avengers. The two shorts that have already been shot featured S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Phil Coulson (Gregg Clark), who you may recall popping up occasionally in other recent Marvel films like Iron Man (he’s the guy who attempts to debrief Tony Stark on Stark’s escape from Afghanistan) and Thor (here, he commandeers Thor’s hammer and then helps himself to Jane Foster’s research). Ah, Shark Week– that magical time of year devoted entirely to things that will eat you if you get too close. Alas, Shark Week is always over far too soon; but never fear! Here are 10 more sharks of the fictional variety to hold you over until next year’s sharkstravaganza. Just be careful around large bodies of water– you never know what might be lurking there.
And by “zombified,” I mean that these characters weren’t originally zombies; however, due to some extremely creative fans and/or franchise writers and artists, they have become so, resulting in much hilarity.
