Happy 48th birthday to Rainn Wilson! Most of us know Rainn for his iconic role as Dwight Schrute on The Office. I don’t think I’m surprising anyone who watched the show when I say Dwight was pretty creepy. But as unsettling as he could be, we still loved him. More

I’m convinced that most of the shows that have children as main characters have them there just to scar the heck out of them. Saddle them with adults who have questionable parenting skills? Yes, please! Set them down gingerly in the middle of absolute chaos? Why, of course! More

Hark, mortals, behold! When last we saw Jon Hamm‘s penis, it was forsworn that it would return again, arisen and more powerful as ever. Long gone are the days where you can only look forward to a post-high school life of stupid math and stupid history papers and other things that I might also describe as stupid. Because, now, once you get to that alcohol palace that we call the American higher education system, you can study the stuff you really care about. Like pop music and candy. More
Do you ever notice that some days of the week you consider what you’re watching/DVRing later and you come up pretty empty, but on other days you don’t know how you’ll ever catch up on the fifty thousand shows airing that night? TV is uneven like that. More

Wow, what a show. This definitely wasn’t my favorite season of Mad Men, but last night’s season 6 finale was pretty fantastic. It had me tearing up more than once and not really knowing why, and more than anything it made me think. A LOT. Which is nothing new for that show, it’s just that this week’s episode got me thinking a particularly large amount. Part of that thinking involved putting together my final sympathy rankings of the season. More
Mad Men is a great television show for many reasons, but my favorite one is that it makes you think. Plain and simple. Sometimes a little too much, especially if it has turned you into a conspiracy theorist, but I love reading everyone’s theories just the same. One popular notion of how the series will end after season 7 next year is that Don will end up falling out of a skyscraper window as a literal interpretation of the intro. More
Mad Men is one of the best shows on TV. It’s also, arguably, the most stressful show on TV. There’s only one episode left in this season, but it’s never to late to learn how to keep your calm, especially since the finale will likely be a doozy. Here’s my four step plan to reducing as much stress as possible while watching Mad Men. More
What an episode! Last night’s Mad Men on AMC had compelling storylines and complex character development coming at us from every angle, and I loved it. Of course the thing everyone’s talking about this morning is the fact that Bob Benson’s identity has finally been explained. Well, sort of. He’s still a bit of a mystery, but he’s a less mysterious mystery, so thanks for that, Mad Men! More
Because the show is so secretive about even the teensiest-weensiest spoilers (Have you seen those episode previews?), it seemed like we’d just have to wait and see if these theories came to fruition. But surprise! The show’s creator himself, Matthew Weiner, is putting those conspiracy theories to rest. More
