Leven Rambin‘s reps and a Hunger Games source claim that she and Alexander Ludwig are “just party pals,” and not actually dating. Then why all the trouble to point out that Leven was single in the video where she unplatonically kisses her co-star? More
Looks like those blind items about The Hunger Games hook-ups might be true after all: This video catches Leven Rambin kissing her fellow tribute Alexander Ludwig. The best part? Her “oh shit” face when they get caught. More
At last night’s The Hunger Games premiere, both the movie’s stars and the random celebrity guests in attendance seemed to have pulled their clothing inspiration from District 12, the Capitol, and even specific Hunger Games characters. More
At first I was scandalized to see Leven Rambin pose in her underwear for Maxim, considering that she’s promoting a movie based on a young adult book series. Then I remembered that her character Glimmer uses sexuality to get ahead, and suddenly it seemed like a shrewder career move than any of the other cast members had made. More
Here’s your first look at the costuming for several of the Hunger Games tributes, including Dayo Okeniyi‘s death stare and Leven Rambin‘s sexy pigtails. More
I’m going to say that this cast photo of The Hunger Games‘ tributes (from Vanity Fair) is even more exciting than the character posters that came out last week—because as cool as it was to see everyone in costume, here you get a real sense of how the cast interacts with one another. Find out how Alexander Ludwig, Jackie Emerson, and others responded when they found out they got the part! More
When The Hunger Games hits theaters in March 2012, Leven Rambin and Josh Hutcherson will play mortal enemies Glimmer and Peeta, forced to fight to the death while millions of people watch as entertainment. But back in 2010, the only thing they had in common was that they were both doing a knife-licking shoot for photographer Tyler Shields. More
Oh, Hunger Games! We had high hopes that you would bypass all of the Hollywood behind-the-scenes bullshit and keep on with illustrating the perils of war and reality TV. But instead, two actors are boning even though one of them is married, and we have to figure out who they are. Yesterday Crazy Days and Nights posted a blind item about two stars on the Hunger Games set hooking up, teasing that it’s an older (married!) man and a much younger female co-star. More
Perhaps proving my conspiracy theory — that Lionsgate will let the Hunger Games actors socialize only with their other district members — Leven Rambin just tweeted that as part of her 21st birthday shenanigans, she and fellow District 1 tribute Jack Quaid are keeping it real: Celebrating with @JackQuaid92 by hitting up a WalMart! Woohoo! More

Talking about preparing for The Hunger Games, Leven Rambin (she’ll play District 1 tribute Glimmer) said that she would be working a lot with stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, and that she thought that the 24 tributes would end up spending a lot of time together: “We’re all in LA training, preparing, and getting our lives in order. I think we’ll all gather and do some bonding.”
But this isn’t a movie about making friends, it’s about hunting other kids to stay alive. With the exception of one’s fellow district mate, each tribute knows nothing about his/her opponents — and prefers to keep it that way so it’ll be easier to kill them. I’m willing to bet that Lionsgate will discourage bonding among the 24 young actors who will face off in the Arena, even forcibly separating them during the shoot. More
Chatting with Interview magazine a week after it was announced that she would play Glimmer, the female District 1 tribute in The Hunger Games, Leven Rambin reveals that she’s had a giddy time of preparing to play one of the 24 tributes fighting to the death in Suzanne Collins‘ dystopian world. More
District 1 has its tributes: Jack Quaid (son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan) and Leven Rambin (Sloan’s daughter Sloan on Grey’s Anatomy) will play Marvel and Glimmer in The Hunger Games. In the series, District 1 is one of the richer districts because it manufactures luxury goods for the Capitol. In keeping with the lush lifestyle, the children receive strange names. But don’t think they’re softies: Katniss nicknames the District 1 tributes “Careers” because of how they band together during training. Of course, there can be only one champion. More
