Danielle Staub’s In Denial Until She Gets Paid

Danielle Staub's In Denial Until She Gets Paid

Basically, the facts outlined in the book are these: Kevin Maher was an informant for the FBI, the “cop without a badge” He met her while working, back then she went by “Beverly Merrill” She was out on bail for kidnapping & extortion, her boyfriend (a drug dealer) held up a kid for the money he owed him for a whole weekend. … He was instrumental in getting her a plea deal; she was able to walk away with just probation They moved in together and she started stripping again, which Maher didn’t like At some point, they were married They both did a lot of cocaine and had a lot of “explosive” sex At the end of the book, the last anyone had heard from her was in 1992, when she was still dancing at a NJ strip club.

Maher is not the father of Danielle’s kids and not the husband she is waiting for a settlement from. That person is Thomas Staub, and the reason he hasn’t paid up may be because he owes a large amount in back taxes, according to the New York Post.

Danielle’s story on last week’s episode is that she came back from modeling and her boyfriend lived in a huge house with 30 rooms and she had no idea that a kidnapping was even happening. While her involvement in the kidnapping may have been minimal, the fact that she continues to say that she was a model is just pathological. A true ex-model, especially in the 90s would have produced some magazines or copies of photos.

In any case, it looks like Danielle is just prepping her story to sell the rights to it anyway. On her Bravo blog last week, she just teases and says that she’ll tell her story at a “later date.” As in, when she gets the advance and hires the writer. One thing about these housewives, they sure are business savvy.
