Fall is finally upon us, which means scarves, sweaters, and all-new TV. The CW launched its new line-up on Saturday with a premiere party in Los Angeles. Representatives were there from new shows like Ringer and The Secret Circle and old ones like 90210 and Nikita. Still no wool yet, though. More
Look at these clothes on Vampire Diaries actress Kat Graham. This outfit is infallible. It’s terrific! The print on that jacket is great! That Grace Jones shirt! And while we’re generally allergic to boat shoes on principle, we can’t find fault with them here. This post is our way of saying: Kat, do you maybe want to move in with us and share clothes? More
The important message of the day comes from Tim Gunn who discusses how, as a gay 17-year-old, he was so filled with despair he tried to take his own life. Tim swallowed more than 100 pills in the (thankfully unsuccessful) attempt. The failed suicide let to an intervention that eventually allowed Tim to accept his sexuality.
Tim’s video is part of the It Gets Better Project, a video series by journalist and sex advice columnist Dan Savage. Dan and his husband Terry created the first video of encouragement for LGBT youth in response to the suicide of 15-year-old Billy Marcus last month. Celebs like Anne Hathaway, Ke$ha, Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham have all participated in the project, which also allows users to upload their own videos. More
While we were talking to Vampire Diaries‘ Kat Graham last week, we managed to squeeze in one final question: Who was her weird celebrity crush?

We have to admit: We were nervous about talking to Kat(erina) Graham. As much as we like our vampire mythologies around here, it’s daunting to talk to someone whose character Bonnie Bennett on the CW’s Vamprie Diaries happen to be a psychic and a witch. Add in the fact that the young actress recently covered Paula Abdul’s “Cold Hearted Snake” and is slated to appear in two major films this year, and you’ve got a downright formidable young actress to call up. Was she going to be a diva? A ditz? Little did we know (though maybe Kat did, psychically), that by the end of the interview we’d accidently say “I love you,” instead of “Goodbye.” Too much? We don’t care: Kat Graham is a kick-ass lady. More
