Days after Hilary Duff announced her pregnancy, studio Cypress Moon Productions announced they were forced to drop her from the upcoming Bonnie and Clyde remake since they couldn’t postpone the movie til after she gave birth. But apparently if you’re Beyoncé, it’s a whole different situation: Warner Bros. is willing to push Clint Eastwood‘s remake of A Star Is Born back beyond the February 2012 start date. More

The A Cinderella Story franchise has its starlets passing the torch as each does her time in the most treasured of fairy tales, then moves on to bigger projects. First it was Hilary Duff, then Selena Gomez, and now Lucy Hale — who you know from ABC Family’s guilty-pleasure show Pretty Little Liars. Each time, the frame story is the same: Teenage girl works as a slave to her stepmother and stepsisters, all the while dreaming of escaping to college and/or Hollywood. Hale’s movie A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song is similar to Gomez’s in that the main character is an aspiring singer (compared to a dancer). Oh, and the glass slipper is always a cell phone.
