Congratulations to Casey Wilson and David Caspe, who got married this weekend in Ojai, California. We should all be very happy for them, because they brought us one of the funniest and most tragically short-lived comedies of all time, Happy Endings, Casey as a star and David as the creator. More

In case you woke up this morning feeling good about the state of this country, let me ruin that feeling for you. More
Friends was a really special show. It took a very simple yet widely relatable concept and turned it into a hilarious, highly rated, long-running sitcom that people are still watching over and over again today. Obviously there were bound to be copycat series. The whole “group of young people of both genders dating and hanging out in the city” concept has been rehashed time and time again since Friends went off the air, to varying degrees of success. More
Some TV shows simply shouldn’t be contained to the small screen. Either they get canceled too soon and fans feel deserving of some closure, or they’ve been off the air too long and fans want an update on their favorite characters, or they’re still on the air but are really well-suited to the movie format. I’m very familiar with how it feels to lose a show too early. Not only do my favorite shows usually get canceled way too soon, but I’ve also caught up on a lot of short-lived series after the fact and felt the horrible emptiness that comes with running out of episodes. Renewal/cancellation season for me is torture. It’s gotten to the point that I just expect every show I love to disappear. More
As Adam explains, he loves hip-hop music and wants to sing along to it, but he doesn’t want to include the N-word. So he has a way around it, and he’s kind enough to share his method with Jimmy and the live audience and all of us watching. More
The only thing that comes close to Thanksgiving in my heart is watching the very special Thanksgiving episodes of TV shows. It’s about as close as we can ever come to feeling like we’re part of our fave TV families. More
I decided it was about time somebody just took a bunch of ensemble sitcom casts and ranked them based on how much fun they’d be to hang out with. And that somebody might as well be me. More
Casey Wilson, aka the AH-MAH-ZING Penny Hartz, is engaged to the show’s creator David Caspe. They met on the set of the show and started dating in 2011. Even though I’m still mourning the show’s cancellation, I’m glad something (hopefully) lasting could come out of it being made. More

I’ve been grieving pretty hard since Happy Endings was canceled and USA failed to pick it up like we had so much hope they might. So I’ll be happy to see any of its hilarious stars getting more work. So I’m obviously pretty excited about Damon Wayans Jr. returning to New Girl next season to reprise his role as Coach. More
I’m so used to reading through TV award nominations and continuously groaning over all the underrated people who were left off the list. With these nominations, I only groaned a couple of times, which was really weird for me. In fact, I spent a lot more time being excited about the underappreciated names that popped up. Except we need to talk about Nick Offerman’s absence. More
Sometimes I just want to give the TV people a good talking to. It seems like all the funniest, most original, non-cliche shows get canceled just when I’m starting to like them. Either that, or the network moves them around the schedule until suddenly they’re airing at 3:46 AM on a Saturday and you have no idea until a week later when you can’t find it online or on demand or in repeats. As one of the six loyal viewers of Happy Endings, I’m thrilled to hear the news that the show might not be over forever. More
In honor of Christy Carlson Romano’s birthday and in remembrance of Ren Stevens, the original Type A girl (for me at least), let’s take a look at some other memorable TV ladies with the same perfectionist streak. They might drive us up the wall sometimes, but in the end we can’t get enough of them. More
