Growing up in Los Angeles, I always found winter holidays a little depressing. Something just doesn’t feel right when you’re wearing shorts to Christmas dinner or blasting the AC on Thanksgiving. But this year, the weather obliged the mood, and L.A. had an overcast TG — which allowed Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale and their kids to attire themselves in their handsomest fall clothing for an afternoon at Grandma’s.
