This year’s set of For Your Consideration ads directed at Oscars and Golden Globes voters include several movies where you have to wonder why they went to the trouble of paying for an ad. When it comes to animated fare, there seems to be a chasm between the transcendental masterpieces and (sorry) the popcorn fare.
