Though I expressed sympathy to Ebony during what must be a physically and emotionally challenging time, not everyone on our official Crushable Facebook page agreed. Commenter Betsy wrote, “I’ve heard one way for teens to prevent miscarriages is to not have sex and/or use birth control. It’s pathetic that these girls are “famous” for being stupid enough to get pregnant the first time. Looks like Jordan Ward isn’t the only 16 and Pregnant alum to find herself with a second baby on the way. Ebony Jackson, who appeared on season one, and her husband Josh Rendon (pictured together at left) are expecting their second child. Last night’s featured girl, Kayla Jordan, broke the news on her Facebook page, writing, “Congrats to Ebony and Josh from season 1 and 16 and pregnant as they are expecting their second child together! Also congrats to Jordan and Brian from season 3 of 16 and pregnant as they are also expecting their second child!” More »

16 And Pregnant's Ebony Jackson Wasn't Screwed Up Enough For Teen Mom

MTV’s Teen Mom franchise is making bank off of the dysfunctional girls who let MTV’s cameras follow them around. But Ebony Jackson, a 19-year old who was part of the original cast of 16 and Pregnant, makes an interesting argument that the show is actually making the lives of its stars worse.

Unlike her costars Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham and Catelynn Lowell, Ebony wasn’t chosen to appear on Teen Mom. And not receiving that reported $60,000 pay check was a big downer at first. But as Ebony tells Life & Style:

“I think the reason I wasn’t chosen is that I was happy. All the other girls had drama going on in their lives, and I just didn’t.”
