What Your Favorite Grown Ups 2 Character Says About You

What Your Favorite Grown Ups 2 Character Says About You

You probably know by now that Grown Ups 2 is now playing and I hope you’re just as excited to see it in theaters as I am! Personally, I thought the first Grown Ups was hilarious to watch because it reminded me of all the funny moments I’ve had with my own crazy friends, and I’m sure the second one will give me that same relatable, delightful feeling. In Grown-Ups 2, each character has his own sense of humor and distinct personality, but with comedy as a commonplace, somehow these grown-ups mesh together to create a perfect dysfunction. More »

Gallery: Who Should Host The VMAs?

Gallery: Who Should Host The VMAs?

As you may already know, the MTV Video Music Awards will have no host this year. I guess Chelsea Handler did such a great job last year that they thought no one could possibly follow her? Anyway, I personally find it a bit lame that given all their vast resources, history, and celebrity connections, MTV couldn’t find a single person fit to wear a bunch of wacky outfits and deliver the lines that the writers wrote for them. In an effort to help, I’ve come up with a few suggestions as to who should host the VMAs this year. You’re welcome, guys. More »

The 5 Biggest Tony Award Snubs

The 5 Biggest Tony Award Snubs

All awards shows can be problematic. The Oscars, the Emmys, the Tonys… no matter what the medium, the politics involved often determine who gets nominated and who wins more than the art itself. It’s true that the Tonys usually aren’t quite as bad as, say, the Oscars can be, largely because Broadway is a little more of a niche world than Hollywood; but snubs still happen, though, and this year, there are some pretty spectacular ones in terms of high-profile celebrities getting zilch for their efforts. Earlier this week, the nominees for the 2011 Tony Awards were announced. But what are the Tony Awards, you ask? They’re one of many awards geared towards the theatre industry (others include the Drama Desk Awards and the Obie Awards). The Tonys, though, strictly celebrate theatrical excellence on the Broadway stage. This year’s ceremony is fast approaching– it airs on June 12 at 8pm on CBS– so for the uninitiated, here’s a quick rundown on the awards: More »

Parting Tweet: You Get A Maserati, And You Get A Maserati

Earlier this week, the story broke that Adam Sandler had given his Grown Ups co-stars (Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider or Kevin James, in case you sat that one out) Maseratis as a thank you gift of sorts. Now it looks like he’s extending his generosity even further! Adam, we will totally On Demand that shizz if you’d like to gift us with a car. Crushable pink, please. More »

Chris Rock is heading to BroadwayThe Motherfucker With the Hat. That’s the name of the play that will bring Chris to the stages of New York. It had better feature one darn good hat. (Vulture)

Comedy Central's 'Night of Too Many Stars': 6 Parts (Probably) Too Controversial to Air

Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Benefit for Autism Education, hosted by Jon Stewart. We got some awesome quotes from celebs on the red carpet (including Lewis Black, John Oliver, Jim Gaffigan, Tracy Morgan, Olivia Munn, Ricky Gervais, and Tay Zonday) and then got to watch a live screening of the show that will be shown on Comedy Central on October 21st at 9 p.m. Watching a 3-hour special that will probably be edited down to an hour, we definitely were shown some stuff that is not going to make it to the episode but were friggin’ amazing. Here are our top 6 favorite moments from the show you probably won’t see. More »
