Suri’s Little Woman-ness Confirmed With Coffee Cup, Spectacular Manicure, And Lipstick

Suriâs Little Woman-ness Confirmed With Coffee Cup, Spectacular Manicure, And Lipstick

Little Suri Cruise gets a lot of flack. If it’s not her high heels, it’s that bright red lipstick that has everyone concerned. And given the tabloid’s obsession with the 6-year-old, it’s only a matter of time before the press starts grotesquely picking apart her body along with her wardrobe choices. But despite whatever narrative Us Weekly and the like wants to spin about Suri being a little fashionista or a diva, a recent photo of the little girl does confirm that she’s definitely not your average child. Harper Seven Has Predictably Been Offered A Modeling Job

Harper Seven Has Predictably Been Offered A Modeling Job

Harper Seven Beckham made it to the top of InStyle‘s Hottest Celebs Under 25 at only eight weeks old, even if she does deign to wear converses. Yet, if you can manage to keep all eyes on you at New York City Fashion Week while sharing a photograph with Victoria Beckham, then perhaps that is a reason to consider a career in modeling — at 9 months old. Harper Seven may not even be walking yet, but the famous tot has been offered some modeling work in what is probably the most predictable chain of events ever.

Having been photographed already by the paparazzi in an array of outfits all over the world, Harper has been offered a contract with UK company My1styears.com to model their goods. In a letter to the baby girl — not the parents — the company attempts to woo the infant with some praise. She may not be able to read, but don’t tell them that: More »

Harper Seven Deigns To Wear Converses

Harper Seven Deigns To Wear Converses

For a mother-daughter shopping trip, I would have expected to have seen little Harper Seven Beckham decked out in some little pumps or perhaps even bejeweled sandals. After all, the baby girl isn’t even one year old and already has a visit to New York City Fashion Week under her belt. But let it be known that as outlandish or lavish Victoria Beckham may appear, she is still throwing her tot in Converses for a day of shopping.

The two were photographed in Beijing and little Harper appeared like a lot of kiddies on the playground: like a kid. Not like a mini-Victoria complete with platform heels and a mini quilted Chanel, but like a baby. Despite the press’s insistence to glamorize baby Harper as the fashion prodigy set to mimic her mother’s every nail polish color, she is at present just a 10-month-old in some white converses, a floral top, and a barrette. The image alone is humbling in a tabloid narrative that calls her a “fashionista in the making!” and names her the #1 hottest celeb under 25 at a mere eight weeks old. But will points be deducted for that next InStyle list for this fashion faux pas? More »

The Doubtful Michael Jackson Paternity Revisited: Bodyguard Claims His Sperm Conceived ‘Blanket’

The Doubtful Michael Jackson Paternity Revisited: Bodyguard Claims His Sperm Conceived âBlanketâ

There’s been all kind of talk regarding the actual biological origins of Michael Jackson‘s children. We all know Debbie Rowe carried two of the three kids, including Paris Jackson. But the sperm being actually that of Michael has been met with some skepticism over the years for a slew of reasons. Prepare for a 2012 sperm fiasco, nearly three years since the pop icon passed away, as a former bodyguard named Matt Fiddes claims his spermies actually conceived the youngest Jackson child: Prince Michael II or “Blanket.”

Fiddes recently told the press that Michael admitted that he had used Fiddes’ sperm after asking him for it 2001. According to Fiddes, Michael asked him for a donation after requesting an “athletic” child (?!). Fiddes, a martial arts master, complied, turning down Jackson’s lucrative offer and handing over his sperm for free. A year later, Blanket was born, and Michael admitted to that the bodyguard that he had indeed used his sperm: More »

Robin Williams’ Daughter Zelda Writes Open Letter Challenging Nepotism Accusations Hurled At ‘Children Of’ Actors

Robin Williams' Daughter Zelda Writes Open Letter Challenging Nepotism Accusations Hurled At 'Children Of' Actors

“I know many ‘children of’ who are very aware (and usually very self-aware) of the effort it took for their parents to succeed,” Zelda Williams wrote in an open letter posted to Tumblr last night, “as well as the chilly reception they will receive pursuing the same success until they ‘prove themselves.’” More »

An Oscar Nomination For A Child Usually Means Nothing Good

An Oscar Nomination For A Child Usually Means Nothing Good

The much publicized “Oscars Curse” may plague adult women who achieve the coveted Best Actress Award. But if we take a look back through history, an Oscar win or nod to a child actor is usually prelude to personal disaster or a complete career stall.

Ever since our beloved Shirley Temple was handed an honorary Oscar in 1934, a child being honored at the Academy Awards is a questionable moment as evidenced in later drug addiction, alcoholism, poor personal choices, or even death. Tatum O’Neal earned an Academy Award at 10 years old for her role in Paper Moon and she has since spent a big chunk of her adulthood openly struggling with heroin and cocaine addiction. Heartthrob River Phoenix was acknowledged with an Oscar nomination in 1988 when he was 17. Five years later, he famously died of a drug-induced heart failure outside a night club in Los Angeles.
