I will show the left cheek from the left side in a dim light.” This was said by actress Emmy Rossum recently when she was discussing her nudity contract in an Emmy Roundtable for The Hollywood Reporter. Rossum’s character on the series Shameless, Fiona Shaw, shows quite a lot of skin in every episode and she was discussing her initial contract when the show started. “I have a lot of control over what I want to show, when I want to show it and when I don’t want to show it.” When asked if she’s in constant negotiation with showrunner John Wells about nudity issues, Rossum responded: “Not at all. But originally, when they made the contract it was like, ‘You will show partial side boob, you will show two cheeks … .’” More »

Well, we can’t just call the Olsen twins celebrity designers anymore. Last night they took home the biggest prize at the annual Council of Fashion Designers of America awards. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were selected Monday night as the country’s top womenswear designers for their collection, The Row.

In just a few short years the Olsen twins have taken the fashion world by storm. They have made sure that they were doing serious work and were not just going to be considered another celebrities who became designers. According to Telegraph writer Sheryl Garratt, there are still only a handful of women working at this level in fashion, and fewer still who have packed the experience the Olsens have into their 25 years. Forbes put out what feels like its 87th list this month with the release of the Forbes Celebrity 100 list. Jennifer Lopez, with her $52 million in earnings in the last year and omnipresent-like quality, topped the list. Six other women including Oprah, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga managed to nab spots in the top 10. Drew Barrymore may be following in Bethenny Frankel’s footsteps. Drew is launching a brand of wine called Barrymore Pinot Grigio and it is set to go on sale next month in New York. It will cost $20 a bottle. Bethenny in addition to her Skinnygirl Margarita and Sangria is also launching a brand of Pinot Grigio and announced it a few months ago.

Barrymore Pinot Grigio will probably not reach Skinnygirl status anytime soon, considering Frankel has the number one growing spirits brand in the country, but it sounds like Drew is very passionate about this project. Niccolo Salvadori, a partner in SGC Group, the official licensee for Barrymore Wines, told the New York Post that the star has been working on the project for the past two years. “She herself is a pinot grigio drinker, and she created a wine reflecting her style,” he said. “Drew made numerous trips to Italy, spent time with the facility and was involved with the wine at every level.” More »
