This Shame poster is a little NSFW, if you take issue with bodily fluids. But if you’ve seen this NC-17 film, then you’ll probably appreciate the poster that Hungary banned. More

Crushable rounds up our favorite movies of the year—not necessarily the Oscar-worthy ones, but those that made us laugh, cry, and quote endlessly for weeks afterward. Is your favorite in the list? Do you totally disagree? Let us know. More
We’re back with round two of photos from the Great Gatsby set (see round one here), and Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan are all dressed up and strutting about what I assume is Gatsby’s fancy estate. My big takeaway from this is that I’d totally kill to have Carey-as-Daisy’s wardrobe. Think that’s a possibility? More
See that tiny little seagull right there on Carey Mulligan‘s wrist? That tattoo is what helped the actress land her role opposite Michael Fassbender in Shame. As Carey tells it, she was instantly enamored with the role of Sissy and had to beg director Steve McQueen to give her the role. So she sat him down and talked all about how she felt Sissy was similar to another role she’d played and loved, that of Nina in the play The Seagull. And then she brought up the tattoo: More
Baz Luhrmann‘s adaptation of The Great Gatsby has been filming since September (in Australia! East Ostrich Egg?), and newly released photos give us out three leads dressed up in their most dapper attire: there’s Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway, and Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan. Just look at these pictures and tell me you don’t want to live in a world where everyone’s this handsome and nattily attired. More
It’s official: Shame, the buzzed-about drama starring Michael Fassbender as a sex addict, has been branded with the NC-17 rating by the MPAA. Although we already know that the movie features a very naked Michael having his way with multiple women, it turns out it’s just one detail that led to the heightened warning: Michael has a full-frontal nude scene where his junk is on display. Because they didn’t find a way to hide it behind a sock or piece of furniture, the movie joined the “for adults, but not porn” club. More
“You’re gonna watch the Shame trailer?” my boyfriend asked last night as I was cueing up the video.
“Um, duh,” I told him. “It’s Michael Fassbender, naked, having lots of sex.”
It wasn’t. But it’s still a fantastic trailer. More

Hey look: it’s a diamond engagement ring on Carey Mulligan‘s finger. Which makes sense, as the actress became engaged to Mumford and Sons singer Marcus Mumford last month. The cutest thing about this English It couple is that Carey and Marcus were pen pals as kids! Aww. More
Big news: Sex addiction is now sexy, instead of sad! Instead of us turning away in embarrassment when David Duchovny goes to rehab, we’re eagerly waiting to see GOOP goddess Gwyneth Paltrow and our not-so-secret love Michael Fassbender playing folks who just can’t shake the habit. Sadly, they’re not in the same movie, because wouldn’t that make for just the screwiest rom-com! More
For weeks I’ve seen the posters for Ryan Gosling‘s The Fast and the Furious indie ripoff Drive — and I have to ask, whose idea was it to slap on some girly font for an intense car-chase thriller? Best-case scenario, this looks like something we at Crushable would make; worst-case, it resembles a preteen’s folder with “Mrs. Ryan Gosling” scrawled on it in gel pen. More
One of the most entertaining things about Comic Con is watching celebrities show up to plug their upcoming movies and look really, really fucking awkward trying to interact with their public. More
