A new profile in Vogue paints British singer Adele as an extremely down-to-earth person. She talks loudly, fears performing, and take the paparazzi attention in stride. But one thing we didn’t really expect from the Grammy-winning artist was a lack of ambition, or rather, a sudden prioritizing of her relationship over her fast-moving career. More

This summer, I’ve joined the much more depressing, much bigger, much more unofficial unemployment club. Hi, my name is Melanie, I just graduated from college, and I don’t know what the hell I’m doing with my professional life. More
This week, I got to let my inner Trekkie shine, and by “shine” I mean, I basically freaked out and had a conniption fit BECAUSE I GOT TO INTERVIEW SOMEONE FROM STAR TREK!!!!! On one of the last episodes of this season of Teen Mom 2, wild child Jenelle Evans got fired from her job as a waitress when she up and drove to New Jersey with boyfriend Kieffer Delp without notifying anyone– ANYONE– of her plans. The fact that she managed to charge $700 to her mom’s credit card during her little jaunt up north has been well-documented, but she didn’t stop at just that. Oh no. She also skipped out on a whole bunch of shifts at her restaurant. While it clearly would have been too much to ask that she find someone to cover her shifts, you’d think that she’d at least have the presence of mind to call in and lie that she was sick or something; but no. She just didn’t bother to show up. So naturally, when she returned, her ass got fired. So guess what, folks? Jenelle is back on the job hunt! And, gee, who WOULDN’T want this model employee on their staff? More
My ears are ringing with questions. Just call it the institutional inquisition.
Graduation is six weeks away. I don’t usually broadcast the inner workings of my every move to the whole wide world, but questions are flying at me from all angles about where I’m going and what I’m doing come graduation, and so on.
So what do I do? Well, whenever acquaintances approach looking inquisitive, I simply block out whatever they say, wait until they cock their head awaiting my response, put my hand in their face and say, “Talk to the hand!” More
Although The Soup host Joel McHale likes to remind everyone that Kim Kardashian is famous for having a big ass and a sex tape, family momager Kris Jenner tells Redbook magazine that the whole family works their less-famous asses off. “It’s annoying when I hear, ‘What do your girls do?’ Well, first of all, all of my daughters have jobs. They are fashion stylists and designers; they own a chain of stores. They had the stores before they had the show,” Kris said. “And my kids worked from the time they were 13 years old. So to me, that’s a huge misconception that the girls don’t work. They work 25 hours a day.” More
