Can Whitney Houston‘s family please just let her rest in peace? Apparently not. Last month we learned that Whitney’s mom, Cissy Houston, daughter Bobbi Kristina, and bro and sis-in-law Gary and Pat would be starring in a new reality TV show called The Houston Family Chronicles (because, you know, it’s really necessary to share your mourning process with the world).

Now Cissy is taking the exploitation one step further with a memoir on her famous daughter that promises to tell the “unabridged and unbelievable story” of Whitney’s career. Argh! Really, I tried not to be so cynical – a mother has a right to remember her daughter however she sees fit – but c’mon, this is a pretty cheesy move.
