There are films that are incredibly well done; from the acting to the directing and cinematography and yet… I know I will never watch them again. For various reasons. No matter how good they were or how much I enjoyed them. You know what I mean? More
Topic: Black Swan
I never expected Lifetime to make the Barbara Hershey movie that would scare me the most. I think we all know the movie I expected to be her scariest. That’s right. Beaches. Wait… that’s wrong. I mean Black Swan. But the new movie Left to Die proved to be much scarier. Specifically, it scared the desire to travel right out of me. More

Chloe Moretz talks about how Carrie will resemble 2010′s psychological thriller Black Swan: “You’ll see things, and you don’t know if you’ve seen them.” More
I’m the first to admit that Mila Kunis is gorgeous. She’s so damn lovely, that if I was told I needed to stalk someone, she’d probably one of my first choices, along with Ryan Gosling, of course — oh, and Justin Timberlake, Jon Hamm and — OK, there’s a decent size list there. More
Sometime before the Emmys telecast, Martin Scorsese and Heather Morris ended up on the red carpet at the same time. We’re a day late on this, but it’s too good not to post. Part tribute, part quote archive, it’s a collection of the sweetest, looniest, most soulless mothers in film and TV. I’ve probably seen two-thirds of the works mentioned here, but I can pick out Mean Girls, Mommie Dearest, Requiem for a Dream, Mamma Mia!, Stepmom, Back to the Future, Black Swan, Jerry Maguire, Knocked Up, Carrie, Freaky Friday, The Kids Are All Right, Grey Gardens, and that classic love letter to moms everywhere, Psycho. No, not THAT type of peep show! I’m talking about Peep Show V, the fifth annual Washington Post Peeps Diorama Contest. In an astonishing display of creativity, this contest features the most intricate dioramas imaginable, made– you guessed it– with Marshmallow Peeps. The winner, chosen last week from a batch of 35 finalists, featured a depiction of the dramatic rescue of 33 mine workers in Copiapo, Chile, last October, but we here at Crushable HQ can only imagine how difficult it must have been to pick one winner. To our great pop-culture-loving joy, there were a terrific selection of pop-culture themed dioramas in the final 35; so just in time for Easter, here are our 15 favorites! More
What’s more interesting than the grueling details of an actor’s process of getting into character? Discovering that that Oscar-winning performance may not have been as difficult as previously thought. Once Sarah Lane, Natalie Portman‘s dance double for Black Swan, brought to light the fact that she wasn’t properly credited for her extensive work in the film, defenders and opponents rose up on both sides to argue her claims. As Dlisted points out, it’s become something of a numbers game. More
