It has been an interesting week for Bethenny. Her show, Bethenny Ever After, premiered last night on Bravo but yesterday she revealed on The Today Show that she recently had a miscarriage. Why so much honesty? The miscarriage was not revealed on the show so she did not have to share it with the world but she chose to. “I have thought about other women more than myself,” she continued on Today. “I can’t believe what people must go through if they can’t even have the one. … You go through a roller coaster of emotions about it.” She is also very candid and honest about her marriage. “When I decided to do television, I decided to really go there,”Frankel told Forbes‘ Meghan Casserly. “And once you go there, you can’t come back and be only sort of yourself.” But this strategy of being completely open is working for Frankel as a personality and a brand. When compared to the craziness of all the other Real Housewives of New York as well as reality stars in general, I always thought Bethenny Frankel stood out for her intelligence, shrewdness and sense of humor. However, after watching the premiere of the third season of Bethenny Ever After last night I started to get a little turned off. More
Elisabetta Canalis — formerly of George Clooney‘s arm and soon of Dancing with the Stars — is the latest celeb to strip down and bare all in the name of animal rights. Who else has posed naked for PeTA? Just about everyone, it seems.
Time to toss the rosé, girls—there’s a new pink drink in town, and she came to party. It’s called Qream, it comes in the femme-friendly flavors of Strawberry and Peach, and even though it’s a Créme liqueur, it’s 95% lactose-free and low-cal!! THE FUTURE IS NOW. It might seem a little strange that the name of this milky-looking alcohol ditches a more traditional “C” for the “Q,” but I say You Go Qirl—we’ve got enough C-words in this world already, amirightladies? Food Network mainstays Rachael Ray and Guy Fieri recently announced that they’ll be working on a new cooking competition show called Guy vs. Rachael’s Celebrity Smackdown. Fieri, whose fame came from winning season 2 of The Next Food Network Star, explained, “We’re gonna get some celebrities who are gonna come on the show, with different levels of culinary technique and who are into cooking. Rachael’s gonna get five, I’m gonna get five, and it’s gonna be battle royale.” No word yet on who the guests will be, but we’ve got a few suggestions for the booking agent. More
The season finale of Bethenny Ever After came and went, and nobody had more to say about it than the ladies of Real Housewives of New York City. For the entire season, from issues with in-laws, Bryn‘s first Halloween, Bryn’s baptism, Bethenny’s 40th birthday ordeal, Skating with the Stars, and Christmas in Malibu, the Real Housewives ladies have bit their tongues, and been nothing but overwhelming understanding, sympathetic, and kind about the trials and tribulations of being Bethenny Frankel.
Each Wednesday, intrepid pop culture crushmaster Andrea Seigel spotlights a different one of her fake TV boyfriends.
When Brent and I first moved in together, I brought a lot of things into his life. These things include my habit of making him stare into my hair part to tell me if it’s getting wider, as well as weekly depressive breakdowns in the grocery store over the fact that we’ll just be back there again next week.
They were gone for a little while, but the Real Housewives of New York ladies are back and they have plenty to say about this week’s episode of Bethenny Ever After! On this episode, Bethenny finished up her run with with Skating with the Stars, the Frankel-Hoppys did Christmas in Malibu, and Bethenny got a tour bus for her speaking tour. More

This week, Bethenny grappled with the idea of turning 40, the idea of sharing her birthday with her mother, and bad childhood birthday memories. She planned a big birthday for herself, but as she reached the day of the party, she realized she no longer wanted the party, but decided to go through with it, anyhow. Seeing Bethenny break down makes us root for her even more. Check out what the ladies of Real Housewives of New York City had to say about this week’s episode.
