When compared to the craziness of all the other Real Housewives of New York as well as reality stars in general, I always thought Bethenny Frankel stood out for her intelligence, shrewdness and sense of humor. However, after watching the premiere of the third season of Bethenny Ever After last night I started to get a little turned off. More
The season finale of Bethenny Ever After came and went, and nobody had more to say about it than the ladies of Real Housewives of New York City. For the entire season, from issues with in-laws, Bryn‘s first Halloween, Bryn’s baptism, Bethenny’s 40th birthday ordeal, Skating with the Stars, and Christmas in Malibu, the Real Housewives ladies have bit their tongues, and been nothing but overwhelming understanding, sympathetic, and kind about the trials and tribulations of being Bethenny Frankel.
They were gone for a little while, but the Real Housewives of New York ladies are back and they have plenty to say about this week’s episode of Bethenny Ever After! On this episode, Bethenny finished up her run with with Skating with the Stars, the Frankel-Hoppys did Christmas in Malibu, and Bethenny got a tour bus for her speaking tour. More
On Bethenny Ever After this week, we enjoyed, I believe, no tears? Is it possible? Nope, she cried when she visited the Skinnygirl Margarita plant. Still, things were looking on the up and up as Bethenny practiced her ice-skating routine and went on a trip to Canada with Jason. We saw this coming a mile away. Bethenny Frankel has previously said that she used Real Housewives of New York City to launch her career. She told Hollywood Life that she had a career plan when she decided to do Real Housewives of New York City, saying, “I separated in a sense that Season One — everybody was being frivolous… I was just trying to build a career and I was already working on all the projects.” She has also said that she plans to do a few more seasons of Bethenny Ever After, but won’t be doing reality TV for the rest of her life. This week, Bethenny grappled with the idea of turning 40, the idea of sharing her birthday with her mother, and bad childhood birthday memories. She planned a big birthday for herself, but as she reached the day of the party, she realized she no longer wanted the party, but decided to go through with it, anyhow. Seeing Bethenny break down makes us root for her even more. Check out what the ladies of Real Housewives of New York City had to say about this week’s episode.

To all who say reality TV is worthless and reality TV stars are vapid nitwits, I say, eat your words, haters! More
Surprise, surprise: this episode of Bethenny Ever After featured a lot of tears. Bethenny‘s therapy session was incredibly touching; she brought up the fact that she never fully enjoys her birthday because her mother’s birthday is the same day. She talked about how her father only sent money and never called on her birthday. She also recalled the insults her mother allegedly hurled on her, and the mindfuck that is hearing your mother have sex with your stepfather. This week, Bethenny also decides to do Skating with the Stars. Check out the ladies of Real Housewives of New York City to see what their favorite scenes were from this week. More
Various sources have been reporting that Bethenny Frankel is demanding that her show, Bethenny Ever After, be re-edited, to show her in a more favorable light. Arguably the breakout star of Real Housewives of New York City, her solo spin-off, Bethenny Getting Married?, was extremely successful, and Bethenny garnered even more popularity. However, this season of Bethenny Ever After presents another side of her. More
Finally, an episode of Bethenny Ever After with minimal mention of work. I was getting stressed out watching Bethenny get stressed out. I was on the verge of a breakdown: “How are we going to do it all? We have to make time for Jason, Bryn, our in-laws, and a successful career! It’s too much for us!” Luckily, this episode focused mostly on friendships and family. Take a look through the gallery to see what the cast members of Real Housewives of New York City had to say. After watching episode three of Bethenny Ever After, I think Bethenny seemed to be arguably more relaxed and happy. She seemed to be very uptight and a little hostile in the first episode, when she was dealing with Jason‘s family, and stressed out and worrisome in the last episode, as she struggled to balance career, marriage, and motherhood. In this episode, she seemed to be more in her element, working and cracking wise-jokes. But, enough with my analysis. Check out what the Real Housewives of New York City had to say. More
