When we catch up with The Real Housewives of New Jersey, The women are getting ready for their road trip to Napa while their respective husbands tell them that they’re packing too much. Literally every husband is like, “Babe, you’re packing too much.” Guys just don’t get it. WE NEED OPTIONS! We can’t just pack what we need! That’s crazy talk! Melissa Gorga mentions that she is worried about Hurricane Irene interrupting the flow of the trip and making their travels a little rougher. On last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, we got a little glimpse into the personal life of everyone’s favorite housewife hunk, Albie Manzo. There was speculation about him having a girlfriend, so after my world stopped spinning and my eyes were all out of tears, I decided that I had to know just who this chick was. This is clearly the episode wherein Bravo presents us with the roles that the various RHONJ families are going to play in the coming season. The Manzo women have “health diagnoses” – Caroline’s menopause and Lauren’s weight. Jacqueline and Chris Laurita have perma-brat Ashley Holmes, as always. The Wakiles are the boring-but-trying-really-hard-to-be-interesting family. But above all, it’s Gorga v. Giudice. So who won in last night’s episode? Albie Manzo. More

Last night’s Real Housewives of New Jersey mixed in some awkwardness with the usual passive-aggression, when Albie and Christopher Manzo took their family to go see Alexa Ray Joel perform. It was cute how Albie was nervous to talk to Alexa, but downright weird to watch Caroline and Albert suck up to her at the dinner before her set. When Albie made some incomprehensible joke, his parents swooped in to compliment Alexa on her genes, while parents Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley sat nearby. On Real Housewives of New Jersey, Caroline Manzo‘s sons Albie Manzo and Chris Manzo were such popular scene-stealers that they got their own spinoff show, the Bravo webseries Boys to Manzo. But it hasn’t worked out so well for their step-cousin, Ashley Holmes (daughter of their aunt, Housewife Jacqueline Laurita). It looks like the fame bug has officially bitten the entire Manzo family – Albie Manzo and Chris Manzo, sons of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline Manzo, are getting their own show. Well, sort of. The web-only series is called Boys to Manzo, and it features Albie, Chris, and their friend Greg sharing an apartment together. More

Although his mom Caroline Manzo is an official star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, oldest son Albie Manzo has become a popular character in his own right. In season 1, Danielle Staub asked him to dance at a party and everyone flipped out, and in season 2 Albie’s struggles with law school were a major storyline. And Albie’s branching out – he and brother Chris Manzo were on an episode of Millionaire Matchmaker, and they’re getting their own Bravo webseries about their wacky hijinks sharing an apartment together.
Albie (who left law school and has since enrolled at the police academy) is now doing another reality show staple: launching his own product. But unlike Teresa Giudice‘s Italian cookbook or Kim Zolciak‘s single, Albie’s going another route: he’s endorsing a line of bottled water called BLK. Yeah, I know. More

It just keeps getting better.
I recently wrote about the fight that the Real Housewives of New Jersey were involved in during a (luckily for us!) filmed vacation to the Dominican Republic. Now we have obtained new information about the D.R. brawl. Radar Online reports that the brawl caused Teresa Giudice‘s husband, Joe, and Caroline Manzo‘s two sons, Albie and Chris, and their roommate, Gregory Bennett to be detained when they tried to fly home.
