One of the biggest reasons I had for loving this show was its production of beautiful and complex dance numbers. That’s why this farewell video from creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and the cast is so bittersweet. It beautifully captures what made those dance sequences so perfect while reminding us that we won’t get a chance to see anymore of them. More

After months of frantically Googling “Is Bunheads renewed????” each time you woke up and remembered it hadn’t been announced yet, the news is out, and it’s not good. ABC Family finally decided to cancel Bunheads once and for all. I’m pretty sad about it, and so are plenty of other fans just like me who were charmed by this witty, heartfelt series. More
In theory, Lovestruck: The Musical is everything I’d want in an ABC Family Original Movie. There’s romance! Drama! Over-emoting! A magical elixir! (You know, the basics.) But for some reason, these cheesetastic lines and overwrought tropes weren’t cutting it for me. More
If Nicholas Sparks has his way, you’ll be crying three nights a week from now on. More
The most realistic thing out of the entire season that I’ve picked up on is the complete shock when Truly admits at the book club that she didn’t finish Fifty Shades Of Grey. These ladies can’t believe it! Sure, Truly is kind of homely and reserved. But the quiet ones are always the freaks, eh? She should have finished that book. Everyone is so up in arms about her not finishing it, and I was too! It’s how I am with my friends who haven’t finished it or haven’t even read it. I’m all “OMG READ FASTER SO WE CAN TALK ABOUT IT!” More
It finally hit me on this week’s episode of Pretty Little Liars. A is Tom Cruise. Think about it! A is everywhere. More
By now, it’s clear that the Bunheads town of Paradise is straight up crazy. Not quite Tom Cruise crazy, but close. I mean, nothing is normal from the way Michelle gets there to the fact that she’s now living with her deceased husband’s mom Fanny. This entire concept makes about as much sense as the actions of someone on bath salts. And by that I mean, it doesn’t. More
Every episode of Pretty Little Liars season 3 is making me question my lifestyle choices. Why did I not have an affair with a teacher? Why did I not pretend to be a character from a famous novel when I traveled outside of my hometown? Why did I not get involved in some sadistic and dangerous game and not report it to the police? I wasn’t paying much attention this week to the plot this week because I couldn’t help noticing that these girls have awesome clothes. Like really awesome. Too awesome for high school. I’m a fashion and lifestyle blogger and I am super jealous of their wardrobes. More
Although we see very little dancing this episode, we do get to see lots of drinking. This is starting to be my kind of show. I mean, in the first five minutes Michelle breaks out the alcohol and does two shots. Homegirl can accompany me to a bar anytime. More
Life is getting lot more creepy in Rosewood on Pretty Little Liars, and we’ve only scratched the tip of the iceberg as Lucas so grossly pointed out. The ever-charming Melissa returned this week, but she’s missing something. Oh yeah, her baby bump. We’ll get to that in a minute. Mrs. Hastings finally admits that she accepted the offer to be Garrett’s lawyer, and Spencer is convinced it’s because of Melissa. There’s still something very off about Mrs. Hastings’ sudden change of heart. More
Things are starting to heat up in Rosewood on Pretty Little Liars as A continues her (his?) comeback! More
As a former dancer, ABC Family’s new show Bunheads immediately piqued my interest. I watched all the previews and trailers with increased enthusiasm for what looked like a fun drama created by one of my favorite woman in Hollywood, Amy Sherman-Palladino. Seeing that the creator of Gilmore Girls also created this show got my hopes up that Bunheads would feature strong female leads, fast-paced conversation and witty dialogue — all centered around the world of dance. What could be more fun for a former dancer (who still sometimes misses the dance world) to watch?
