The Most Real Thing About Bunheads Is The Shock That Someone Didn’t Finish Fifty Shades Of Grey

The Most Real Thing About Bunheads Is The Shock That Someone Didn't Finish Fifty Shades Of Grey

The most realistic thing out of the entire season that I’ve picked up on is the complete shock when Truly admits at the book club that she didn’t finish Fifty Shades Of Grey. These ladies can’t believe it! Sure, Truly is kind of homely and reserved. But the quiet ones are always the freaks, eh? She should have finished that book. Everyone is so up in arms about her not finishing it, and I was too! It’s how I am with my friends who haven’t finished it or haven’t even read it. I’m all “OMG READ FASTER SO WE CAN TALK ABOUT IT!” More »

J.K. Rowling’s ‘The Casual Vacancy’ Is Not Really Another Harry Potter Book

J.K. Rowling's 'The Casual Vacancy' Is Not Really Another Harry Potter Book

The cover art for J.K. Rowling’s new book, “The Casual Vacancy” has just been released and unfortunately, it doesn’t feature a certain lightning bolt scar and pair of bi-focals. Meaning she wasn’t kidding about writing a book that has absolutely nothing to do with the Harry Potter series. I was secretly hoping that Rowling was conducting the greatest practical joke of all time, as I’m sure most Potterheads were. More »

Pretty Little Liar Of The Week: Melissa Hastings

Pretty Little Liar Of The Week: Melissa Hastings

Life is getting lot more creepy in Rosewood on Pretty Little Liars, and we’ve only scratched the tip of the iceberg as Lucas so grossly pointed out. The ever-charming Melissa returned this week, but she’s missing something. Oh yeah, her baby bump. We’ll get to that in a minute. Mrs. Hastings finally admits that she accepted the offer to be Garrett’s lawyer, and Spencer is convinced it’s because of Melissa. There’s still something very off about Mrs. Hastings’ sudden change of heart. More »

I’m Beginning To Think Bunheads Isn’t About Dance

I'm Beginning To Think Bunheads Isn't About Dance

Last week’s series premiere of Bunheads left us with the cliffhanger of did Hubbell die or not? Well, he did. And this show is getting stranger by the second. Michelle’s obviously confused since her husband just died, but she didn’t love him so she doesn’t know what to do. She stays to help Fanny out with the plans for Hubbell’s Buddhist memorial. That and she really doesn’t have anywhere else to go. More »

A Real Dancer’s Take On Bunheads

A Real Dancer's Take On Bunheads

As a former dancer, ABC Family’s new show Bunheads immediately piqued my interest. I watched all the previews and trailers with increased enthusiasm for what looked like a fun drama created by one of my favorite woman in Hollywood, Amy Sherman-Palladino. Seeing that the creator of Gilmore Girls also created this show got my hopes up that Bunheads would feature strong female leads, fast-paced conversation and witty dialogue — all centered around the world of dance. What could be more fun for a former dancer (who still sometimes misses the dance world) to watch?

Pretty Little Liars Catch-Up Sesh: A Is Back, Bitches

Pretty Little Liars Catch-Up Sesh: A Is Back, Bitches

Pretty Little Liars is back and so is A. How can that be, you ask? Mona is in an insane asylum after kidnapping Spencer and nearly killing Hanna, Aria, and Emily. Well, remember Mona mentioned something about the “A-Team.” And I’m guessing that doesn’t mean a shirtless Bradley Cooper and a Mr. T look alike. Although I’m sure we wouldn’t mind a shirtless Toby. Or Ezra. Or Jason. Or Caleb. Or Wren. Pretty much any guy on the show sans clothes would be great. ANYWAY. Let’s go over what we learned last season to prep for tonight’s episode! More »
