When we lost spotted Rihanna’s Butt, it was hanging out in some brand new, custom-made Prada boots (and very appreciative, Miuccia!). This week, likely due to the humidity, Rihanna’s Butt has ditched the leather boots and is cooling off with the help of a denim thong. According to the ostensibly female writer, women hate Game Of Thrones because it’s got incest on it, it’s too complicated for our lady brains to follow, it is nerdy, it is full of naked women, and you have to watch men get their extremities cut off. It’s time, everyone. The 2013 Met Gala–or, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala, if you’re nasty–is upon us. While we have really, really mixed feelings about this year’s theme–Punk: Chaos to Couture–and we know most of the attendees are nervous about committing (despite our helpful styling suggestions!) this is still the biggest red carpet event of the year. Last month, we brought you the news that Teen Mom‘s Farrah Abraham and James Deen had shot a porn. While it certainly seemed like an odd combination, which we noted at the time, it wasn’t a particularly big story. People have sex all the time; sometimes, people are paid for it. Millions and millions of folks, myself included, watch a fair amount of porn. Provided the people involved are consenting adults, everything is a-okay! So why is the Internet blowing up with judgment at Abraham getting a lucrative pornography deal with Vivid Entertainment after her “sex tape” (i.e. budgeted, professionally produced pornographic film) was leaked. Oh, MTV. Always giving the world what it totally needs, whether it’s keeping abusive women on television or getting teenagers to go on dates with people’s parents. Now, they’ll be enforcing stereotypical ideals of masculinity, because that’s something society absolutely cannot get enough of. Its name: Guy Court, and it sounds like the stupidest thing that has come out of MTV since…well, like, sometime around a week ago. More »
