The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is still going strong among celebrities and normals alike, and now even Lindsay Lohan is getting in on the action. Last night on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon read a question from a fan saying that they’d challenged Linds to do it but she hadn’t responded. And at first Jimmy was like, “Well, she’s in London rehearsing for a play now.” But then he was like, “Never mind, she’s right here in the studio!”
Cue Lindsay walking out in hot pants, a sheer blouse and thigh-high boots, exactly the kind of thing you wear when you’re about to get a bucket of ice water poured over your head. Meanwhile, I like to think (although I obviously can’t know for sure) that the people involved in Speed-the-Plow, the aforementioned play, were saying to themselves at that exact moment, “Hey, where’s Lindsay? She’s supposed to be here.” Because as we learned from Wiz Khalifa, The Tonight Show is where you go when you’re avoiding responsibilities.
But anyway, back to the matter at hand. Before Jimmy does the honors, Lindsay has to announce who she’s challenging. First she name-drops the charity she works with, because of course. And then naturally the next name out of her mouth is Prince Harry. Because why not? I’ll let you in on a little secret we redheads don’t like to tell people very often. We’re all psychically connected. Which means Lindsay and Harry might be total BFFs in their minds. It’s totally true. (It’s not.) But her actual explanation is, “Thank you for having me in London.” Because as we all know, Prince Harry must screen all visitors to London before they’re allowed in, and he was kind enough to grant Lindsay entrance. (???????)
I am a little bit too excited to hear Prince Harry say “I was challenged by Lindsay Lohan,” though.
