Kourtney Kardashian Will Be Wearing A Fake Pregnancy Belly Á La Danielle Jonas

Kourtney Kardashian appearing at Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas April 2014

Even though Kourtney Kardashian is actually pregnant at this very moment, she’s apparently going to be taking a page out of Danielle Jonas‘ book and wearing a fake pregnancy belly for an upcoming magazine cover shoot.

And as if that wasn’t already enough for the two of them to have in common, it’s actually for the exact same magazine! Kourtney will be faking it for Fit Pregnancy, the magazine that Danielle launched a thousand fake pregnancy rumors by covering last November. We have no proof that she wasn’t pregnant during her shoot, but for a couple that supposedly made a baby together, Danielle and Kevin Jonas sure didn’t know how to convincingly touch each other in those photos.

But before you get ready to hop on the conspiracy theory train again, I have to regretfully inform you that it won’t be leaving the station this time around. Kourtney is definitely pregnant, she’s just shooting the cover way in advance, so they’re considering padding her up quite a bit, which is pretty legit. After all, she just announced her pregnancy, and is only about three months along right now, which won’t read at all as a pregnant belly in the shoot, currently scheduled for this summer. But by the time the magazine comes out, Kourtney will be five months further along, so they’re trying to allow for that. According to a source speaking to Page Six:

“It’s for their December/January issue. They’re timing it with her due date, but outfitting her with a fake baby bump since she’s only a few months along.”

See, Danielle? That’s a legitimate reason to wear a fake belly for a shoot. Weird, sure, but still legitimate. And it also proves that Fit Pregnancy have fake pregnant bellies on site for just this kind of circumstance, so I’m more convinced than ever that you were packing a cushion during that fateful shoot.

Kinda would love to try a fake pregnancy belly on just to solidify my decision to wait until I’m like 35 to have kids.

Or carry around an egg for a while that you have to keep safe, middle school-style.

I broke my egg and got my mom to help fake me a new one. I don’t think I’d do any better 12 years later.

Motherhood maternity. They have fake bellies so you can buy the right size clothes for the future I guess? I only know that because my friend was pg and needed a bathing suit. She would be much further along by summer so they helped her in a belly and a suit! Who knew?

Or… if you’re going to be on a magazine cover that loves to play pretend on being pregnant ;-)

      • markmywords

Let me assure you, those who are well connected with their inner child (i.e. geeks, men, geeky men, etc…) will almost never feel ready to have a child. But you just grow with your tasks, take it one day at a time. As long as you’re aware that this is an acutal human being (and not a toy) you’ll be fine. The first years aren’t easy, but having a kid is very rewarding – and the perfect excuse to relive those years again. :-)

They’re doing it all wrong. Scott should be the one wearing the fake pregnancy belly and pay homage to the awesome Full House episode where Uncle Jesse wears a fake pregnancy belly to better understand Becky’s pregnancy. I’d buy that magazine.

      • Alexis Rhiannon

I’d never buy anything BUT that magazine ever again.

In a nutshell: Fit Pregnancy should rename their magazine to Fake Pregnancy, cause the kind of pregnant & fit women they want on their cover simply don’t exist – unless they wear a fake belly and play pretend.

      • Alexis Rhiannon

They want ladies who are skinny except for the belly, apparently.

      • markmywords

Which is pretty close to impossible cause women who are that far along bellywise are very most likely not that fit (or skinny) reg. the rest of their body. This kind of pregnancy is as real as photoshopping elongated bone structure or magnified eyes. All fake.

If you look at it closely, it’s another way of making women feel bad about themselves, because with fake covers like these, this magazine aims at changing the perception of pregnant woman’s bodies. Taking it further, it won’t be long until pregnant women expect themselves to look like the people on the covers and hate themselves for not being able to do so (self loathing should be very healthy for an unborn child). It’s the same with all those unreal beauties in magazines and women constantly putting themselves on diet, trying to achieve the looks of computer altered pictures. One of the many ways to keep women occupied …

This is the weirdest thing to me….like they can’t wait a few months?

Of course she’ll wear a fake belly. When did a Kuntrashain ever do anything authentic besides chickenhead dark meat?

        Whoa. Not okay.
