Miley Cyrus Apparently Hates Christina Aguilera So Much That She’s Boycotting The Voice Forever

Miley Cyrus putting in her grill from We Can't Stop video GIFI flatter myself that I’m usually pretty up-to-date on celebrity feuds, but even I had no idea there was something brewing between Miley Cyrus and Christina Aguilera. I don’t even know how the two of their paths could cross, honestly, but apparently it’s so heated that Miley refuses even to perform on The Voicewhere Christina is a judge.

“Miley is no friend or supporter of Christina, despite the fact they have a lot in common, including long associations with Disney and using some of same people through the years on their respective business teams.”

Apparently the show asked her to appear on its finale last month, but even though Christina is literally not even on the show right now, on account of being one of the ladies on our list of pregnant celebrities, Miley still refused. Apparently the stench of Xtina still lingers in the air around Shakira or something.

The Voice is still Christina’s show and Miley doesn’t want to lift a finger to help that woman.”

YIKES! Strong words, right? Especially considering that this apparently all started from an innocent tweet. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, when Miley wore a pair of chaps onstage during a performance in February, Christina tweeted at her:

Cheers from one dirrty girl to the next @MileyCyrus…wear em’ loud & proud, girl-yes!

…presumably in connection to the fact that Christina used to wear chaps during her Xtina days back in 2002. And also presumably mean as a compliment, which Miley was supposedly not at all open to accepting:

“Miley couldn’t believe Xtina would Tweet about her wearing chaps on stage, reminding everyone that she did it first. It was such a fake compliment and undermined Miley in the process.”

I’m well aware that this report is probably inaccurate, I’m just really enjoying the notion of a feud that sprung up over a goddamn compliment. Keep the flame alive, ladies!

I am 100% Team Xtina on this. I realize nobody asked my opinion. I just felt the need to share.

I feel like they’re both too crazy to ever be friends. They would just keep one-upping each other and it would end like this.

      • Nbl

        I’ve made a huge mistake.

Christina has all the makings of a diva. Miley wants to be one. But Miley can’t hold a candle to Christina.

Anyways, that Tweet was just a compliment and Christina did it first. Miley has to realize that everything has been done before. So . . .

PRETTY SURE cowboys did it first but I see where you’re going with this…

What clue you in? Is it the fact that we’re commenting in the ENTERTAINMENT section?

Calm it down, crazy pants! I was trying to throw YOU a bone! Miss. I’m-OBVIOUSLY-on-Team-Xtina-and-NOT-Miley. Xtina can ALSO realize that everything has been done before, so stick that in your pipe and smoke it. BYEEEEEEEE.

Lol. I like your comment, I like you. But I’m old enough to realize that everything has been done before to death and to say that I am proud to be team J_Doe5686. Chronologically speaking, Christina Aguilera did it first though (entertainment-business-wise.)

I think it’s pretty sick that Miley considered Christina Aguilera’s tweet to be “one upping” her and instead of as a compliment…also that I care hahaha

They’re both a couple of ho’s and news flash – NOBODY likes Christina Aguilera. Not Pink, not Valerie Bertinelli, not Dave Grohl, not Kelly Osborne, and definitely not Mary J. Blige. None of them have anything nice to say about this girl, and I tend to believe them.

And PS: shows like The Voice and American Idol are what’s ruining music today.

      • M_G

I often base my opinion of other on whether or not Valerie Bertinelli likes them or not, so thanks for that random list that has nothing to do with anything.
