Stay Calm, But 7 Of Your Favorite TV Shows Are On The Verge Of Being Cancelled

It’s about that time when TV networks clean house and put a whole bunch of shows on the feared cancellation bubble. Not the kind of totally non-nudity-related sudden cancellation that Sam & Cat faced. No, no, no. The bubble’s reserved exclusively for shows that are performing so awfully with audiences that the networks are all, “you don’t have to go home but you have to get the hell out of here.”

Enter these 7 shows, which you’ll probably be upset to learn might not be around for too much longer. Don’t say goodbye just yet because they could be saved in the eleventh hour. But, you know, start coordinating your floral arrangements for their possible funerals.

1. Nashville (ABC)

I didn’t exactly see this one coming because I feel like everyone praises this show all over the place. But I guess ratings are ratings and Nashville’s are just having a hard time cutting it.

2. The Crazy Ones (CBS)

The Crazy Ones Robin Williams Past Tense

Maybe this one isn’t specifically your fav, but it was someone’s fav because it got a full season one. But the dream is over and this show probably is, too.

3. Crisis (NBC)

Crisis NBC Looking At Watch

Crisis was pulled from NBC’s sweeps schedule, which usually spells bad news for a show. I could easily make a “crisis” pun here, but I don’t want to ruin your day. That’d be the real crisis. (Sorry. Whatever.)

4. Revenge (ABC)

I remember getting sucked into this show like it was yesterday. Too bad now, though, right?

5. Community (NBC)

Poor Community. It basically just lives on the cancellation bubble since it’s got such a niche group of fans.

6. Trophy Wife (ABC)

Trophy Wife Heart Attack

Maybe it was the crappy, crappy title that scared everyone away from this actually funny show?

7. Believe (NBC)

Believe NBC Tate Sad

Believe also got taken off of NBC’s Sunday line-up, sending its fans into a proper frenzy.

The Crazy Ones is literally amazing…the entire ensemble works so well together.

Ehhhh we’ll just have to agree to disagree on this one.

The writing is iffy but the acting is so good. I was hoping they’d have a chance to find their groove next season.

I loved the first season of Nashville but this season kind isn’t that great. I hope if it does return they cut out a few characters (and I def wouldn’t be sad if one with less screen time was Maddie). And I really hope Trophy Wife won’t be cancelled! I love that show. I’m holding out hope though because ABC really likes it so even if it got a half season order I’d be happy.

Agree with BOTH things you said. In fact I have a post just waiting inside me (COMING TO CRUSHABLE NEXT WEEK) all about Nashville’s sucky season two. But I do love Trophy Wife and want it to be renewed.

Can’t stop looking at the Hayden GIF.

    • Olivia Wilson

It’s hypnotizing how it’s almost seamlessly a full loop omg.

  • Lindsey Conklin

    NOT REVENGE!

    • Olivia Wilson

It’ll be a sad day in TV world if/when this gets cancelled.

    • Jenny

But the quality sucked after the 1st season. How long are they going to stretch it?

  • thatgirlinaz

    I love Trophy Wife!!!

    • Olivia Wilson

Yeah, it shocked me by being funnier and much less corny than I expected.

“Trophy Wife” is surprisingly funny, and I gobbled up all of the episodes, and I don’t want Jackie, Bert, or Warren to go away.

I haven’t watched tv in about six years so I don’t know any of these shows. But I do remember seeing a clip of Entertainment Tonight with the cast of Community in a room waiting to see if they had been picked up, and when they got the word that they were, they all literally jumped up and down, screaming. Before that, I never saw such a terrified group of people. You could just see them calculating in their heads if they were going to be able to pay the mortgage that month.

I had heard that Trophy Wife had already been cancelled so I’m actually relieved that it still maybe has a shot. I love that show… HYSTERICAL. The only other one on that list I watch is Nashville and the last 3 episodes are on my DVR but keep getting passed over for better shows. This season is kind of meh.
