Seth Rogen Breaks The Bank On Curse Words To Explain How Much He Hates Justin Bieber

The only silver lining of the fact that Justin Bieber is becoming more of a brat every day is that now, by 2014, everyone’s pretty much in agreement that he’s the worst. Aside from some of his die-hard fans who keep pointing out that since he donated money to charity a few times, that should outweigh his general aura of complete douchiness, we’re all pretty much on the same page here. And that feels good.

So now instead of celebrities giving diplomatic statements about how they’re sure he’s a ‘good kid’ or ‘finding his right path’ or ‘being a regular teenager’, we get people like Seth Rogen, who has absolutely no problem calling him a dick, a motherfucker, and a piece of shit. In the same interview.

Seth did an interview with Howard Stern yesterday, and one of the questions he got asked was about a tweet he’d posted in January, when Justin was arrested for driving under the influence in Miami:

Howard was pretty curious about that, as were all the rest of us, because it sounds like Seth and Justin have some, like, secret history that I knew nothing about. In fact, they’ve only met a couple times, but it sounds like Seth got enough of a read off of Justin to never need or want to meet him again:

“He’s a good example of someone you meet, who you think you’re going to hate him, and then you get to hate him as much as you thought. You meet him, and he meets up to every one of your [bad] expectations of how you hope he will be.”

When they first met, it was because they were both appearing on the same German talk show, and Bieber’s people came to Seth’s dressing room to ask him if he’d step out and meet the singer.

“And it was weird, I was like, ‘Sure, I’ll meet him.’ So I went outside to meet him and he was acting like Iasked to meet him! It was very nonchalant, ‘Yo man. Sup,’ and I’m like, ‘What the fuck, I don’t want to meet you. Don’t act all nonplussed to meet me. I didn’t want to meet you! I was totally cool not meeting you! … But I was like, fine, I wouldn’t have said anything, I was like, ‘Aye, he’s a bit of a motherfucker. He’s young, the kid’s a dick.’”

So he’d already made a bad first impression, and by the time the two of them ran into each other again at an MTV Awards show a couple years later, things only got worse:

“He literally had a snake wrapped around his fucking wrist that he was wearing. I was like, what the fuck? And I talked to him for like five minutes and I just remember thinking, ‘Fuck this kid.’”

And no, before you ask, Seth doesn’t feel this way about anyone who’s in their twenties. Because c’mon — he gets along great with Zac Efron, who’s twenty-six.

“When I met Zac Efron, one of the most endearing things is that he recognized that he as a Disney star, and I as a man in my late twenties, early thirties, would fucking hate him. Why wouldn’t I? Justin Bieber had zero percent of that. No humility, no awareness, no sense that, ‘Since I appeal to young, young people, maybe a grown man who works in comedy doesn’t give a shit about me? And maybe I should act in such a way that maybe this isn’t the greatest experience of his fucking life to meet me?’ And I just remember thinking he’s a piece of shit.”

Damn, Seth. Really no holding back there. But as harsh as that is, I feel like someone has to say it, right? Just so we’re not deluding ourselves into thinking that Justin’s on the right track toward…anything. Speak your truth, Seth! I’m just relieved I’m not the only one who openly despises him anymore.

There are celebrities like Britney and Taylor, are so polarizing. And then there are Beyonce and Bieber, who bring us all back together :’)

      That’s so true!

I like Seth but I think people should be humble regardless of who they are. No one is that special. But to give the impression that a kid from Disney should be self deprecating is really weird to say and seems arrogant to me.

Zac Efron just doesn’t want to appear a total douchebag, and over the years he’s acted quite exemplary. Justin Bieber began as soon as his first record was published.
