Well, here’s another thing to add to the constantly growing list of reasons things aren’t looking too good for Selena Gomez these days. According to People, this weekend Selena partied with Kendall and Kylie Jenner at a club in West Hollywood called Bootsy Bellows. Selena was also recently spotted shopping with Kendall, so it looks like this friendship is happening, and there’s nothing we can do to stop it.
The girls apparently sat together in the VIP room in the back corner of the club. I’ve already typed four sentences in this post and I’m sure you’re wondering why I haven’t mentioned it so here you go: Why are a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old at a club? According to the club’s Yelp page, the age requirement is 21+. Which means the only person who should have been allowed in was Selena. Am I surprised they got in? Not in the slightest. Does it make me weep a little bit (okay, a lot) for humanity? Very much so.
But back to Selena and her terrible taste in people. If you made a menu of various celebrities, both likable and unlikable, and you handed it to Selena and told her to pick the ones she wanted to hang out with, I’m convinced she would always pick the worst ones. We’ve written enough posts begging her to break up with Justin Bieber and/or Taylor Swift to prove that. And now we can add the littlest members of the Kardashian family (well, besides the babies, who would be way better hangout buddies) to that list.
This is just another in a long line of “Wait, what?!” things going on in Selena’s life these days, including but not limited to making a sexy dance video with Bieber, getting served legal papers at the convenience store, and posting risque photos to her Instagram account. Plus, I’d guess that partying at a club probably isn’t the best thing for Selena to do after her recent trip to rehab. Her team has said it wasn’t related to substance abuse — contrary to rumors – but I’d argue it’s still probably not the best environment for a young starlet who’s recently gone through (and is possibly still going through) a tough time.
