Look, I’ll be straight up honest with you. I never liked Joey Gladstone. Even as a child, I found his jokes on Full House to be far too juvenile for my taste. And I found his choice of bedroom decor to be far too suspect for a grown man. So naturally, my inability to separate actors from the characters they play meant that I never liked Dave Coulier either. And you oughta know that learning about his relationship with Alanis Morissette years later didn’t help his case. (Cue “And every time I scratch my nails down someone else’s back I hope you feel it” being stuck in my head for the rest of the day.)
With that said, I haven’t thought about him in years. I dislike so many celebrities irrationally that they all can’t be at the forefront of my brain every single day. However he’s front and center right now due to his lovely tweet this morning about The Hunger Games. To be completely honest, I don’t really know what he’s talking about here. But I do know that we’re not really using words like “queens” and “trannies” these days because it’s 2014 and C’MON.
The Hunger Games…a time when queens and trannies take over the Earth.

I’ll speak on behalf of all ’90s kids here and say that the only thing sadder for us than seeing actors from our favorite corny family TV shows fade into obscurity is seeing them pop back up as horrible people. And okay fine, maybe I shouldn’t write Dave Coulier off as horrible but quite yet. But as someone still dealing with the trauma that is Kirk Cameron Christ, I want to prepare myself for what might come next. So Dave, I’ll say to you what you said way too many times on Full House, cut it out.
