Considering that it’s been a whole four days since someone’s publicly criticized Kate Gosselin and the way she’s raising her eight children, it totally makes sense that her sister Kendra’s stepping forward and speaking out. For the children of course. Every adult involved in this terrible mess is just here for the kids. Why, I’m sure Kendra totally intended to call child services and then accidentally ended up dialing The Daily Mail. By the time she realized her mistake, all the family secrets had been spilled. Sometimes it happens! You mean to help eight innocent children and you end up exploiting them instead.
While Kendra’s comments about Kate aren’t quite as damaging as Jon Gosselin’s comments about her (or his public masturbation video), they’re still something I would file under “Maybe, hold off on sharing this until the 8 children I claim to be so worried about aren’t children anymore and can consent to me talking about their upbringing.”
‘I guess we weren’t totally on board with what was going on with the kids, I guess we weren’t excited enough for her and were concerned about her family. Years later the divorce came about and we had every right to be. But there was no conversation and no argument. I guess we have our own life and she wants a big life and we don’t fit in. We are just normal everyday people and she doesn’t want us to be part of her life.’
Then again, maybe these quotes are fun for the Gosselin kids to read. Or for other kids at school to read and then talk about in class. After all, there’s nothing healthier for growing children than seeing their family trash talk them in the media. I’m sorry, I meant there’s nothing healthier for a therapist’s practice than children reading negative things about themselves in the media. You know that somewhere out there, a therapist’s stroking his chin and laughing manically. “One day,” he cackles, “I’ll transform all these of these childrens’ problems into cold, hard cash. MWHAHA (breath because laughing like that’s exhausting) MWHAHAHA.”
