While I think Josh Hutcherson’s far too pure to ever troll his own fans, I’m starting to think that someone let him in on our obsession with his maybe-imagined/maybe-not-so-imagined Jennifer Lawrence obsession. And I also think that he’s having a little fun with it. Either that or he’s truly head over heels in love with his co-star. Which, let’s be honest, isn’t all that crazy. He would just be human being #2809832381908 on the list of people who crush on the star.
In a recent interview, the Catching Fire star talked about what it’s like to kiss J.Law in the movie. And he answered as if he’d stepped out of our fantasies and onto the pages of a Lifetime movie script.
Asked if his love scenes with J-Law had given him high expectations from his real-life dates, he responded: “I understand that. She’s definitely many a man’s desire. ”For me, she’s like a best friend and a sister, so it’s a little bit incestuous. But she’s a great kisser – so, yup, the bar is high!”
Seriously, I think Lifetime’s probably working on a holiday movie set in a dystopian wasteland as we speak. The main characters are a brother and sister named Focaccia (Dean Cain) and Dogmess (Tori Spelling) who fall in love when starring on a reality show together. But twist, they don’t know they’re brother and sister until their first children’s born with the head made of bread. Also their dad is Santa Clause (Rob Lowe). Dun, dunn, dunnnnn.
But in all honestly, really Josh? You know how our hearts quiver when you bring our Peenis fan fiction dreams to real life! Do you think you can take all your Jenpliments (Jennifer Lawrence Compliments) down a notch? Otherwise, I won’t be able to focus on the movie at all when I see it in theaters in a few weeks. Instead I’ll just be thinking about you getting excited to kiss your sister. And honestly, I’d rather focus on the drama and Sam Claflin’s body and the drama.
