2013 Celebrity Halloween Costumes, Ranked From Best To What?

Kristin Chenoweth Dressed As SWAT Officer For Halloween

Hollywood celebs are on a continued mission to prove that Halloween isn’t just one day; it’s, in fact, multiple weeks long. And, you know, I’m totally fine with that, because that means that there’s always going to be an abundance of celebrity costumes, which is one of my favorite things ever. Sometimes they get it really really wrong, but other times, they’re just so full of amazing goodness.

So, since they’re all trotting around town in leotards, leather, and lots and lots of tulle until the end of the month, we’ve decided that the best thing we could do is to rank them. Isn’t that sweet of us? You can thank us by handing out full candy bars when we come to your house to trick or treat.

Naya Rivera

I don't want to play favorites here, but if I were going to, Naya's Carmen Sandiego post might be the one I chose as number one. The little kid in me is bouncing off of the walls.

Paris Hilton

SHE DID IT, you guys. Paris Hilton wore the only Miley Cyrus costume that needs to be worn this year. There will be thousands of others, but Paris' insanely authentic one will always win.

Martha Stewart

Okay, you guys, Martha Stewart went all out on her Fairy Godmother costume. Whether or not she can breathe underneath all of that pink fluffy tulle isn't even important right now.

David Spade

David totally nailed the creepy Terry Richardson even down to the thumbs-up and mutton chops.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita

Jesse and his hubby Justin did the couple's Halloween costume the right way when they went as Batman and Robin. Please, guys, dial down the cuteness a little -- I'm really trying to regulate my celebrity couple obsessions.

Chelsea Handler

It was so clever of Chelsea to dress as a pregnant woman, considering the fact that she spends about 99% of her time saying how much she doesn't want kids. Is this what irony is?

Kristin Chenoweth

Kristin could literally wrap herself in apple skins and still be the most adorable thing ever. Her shirt says "SWAT", but everything else says "I'm a little teapot."

I LOVE this Queen of Hearts costume. She's been doing pretty awesomely on the Halloween costume front, I must say. Although this one beats out all of her other costumes, in my opinion.

Lauren Conrad

Lauren might be preparing for her wedding day by wearing only bridal gown-like clothing. Exhibit A- this fairy costume.

Super cute White Queen costume, Snooks. And I also really like her makeup!

Chord Overstreet

Chord dressed as Charlie Hunnam's character, Jax, in Sons of Anarchy. Can't wait to see who dresses as Charlie's almost character, Christian Grey.

Cindy Crawford

Cindy went as Slash this year, which you can tell by her top hat and cute lil' tattoo sleeve.

Alessandra Ambrosio

Alessandra dressed as a sexy Queen of Hearts. Actually any costume that she'd wear would have to have "sexy" in front.

John Stamos

John took a break from being a handsome devil to just be a devil for a little while. But I still have a giant crush on him, manic smile and all.

Derek Hough

I can't tell if Derek's dressed as a specific person, or just punk rock personified. Either way, the chance to wear guyliner arose and he freaking seized it.

Mark Salling

Mark dressed as a cowboy, but I'm going to imagine him as Woody from Toy Story, so it seems more awesome.

Vanessa Hudgens

Vanessa's angel costume isn't anything groundbreaking, but it's still nice enough. And, of course, she had to incorporate her EDM boots in some way. Vanessa, you rascal.

Leonardo DiCaprio

Leo continued his fun game of Paparazzi Hide and Seek by just choosing a costume that let him hide the entire night. Head to Toe Gothic Leo, everyone.

Michelle Trachtenberg

Michelle dressed as some sort of Victorian Spider Queen? Or something? I don't know, I'm at a loss with this one.

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher

Ha ha... wait, what? Does anyone in this whole universe know what Isla and Sacha are meant to be dressed as?
