It’s no secret that most, if not all, people have at some point been exposed to some degree of bullying, whether it be as a person who has bullied others, who has been bullied, or who has witnessed bullying taking place. Secret’s Mean Stinks campaign seeks to change that unfortunate truth by educating young girls about the ways that being bullied can affect a person and encouraging them to stick together and stand up against all types of bullying.
Girls who have been affected by girl-to-girl bullying have been showing their support for Mean Stinks by ”ganging up for good” since 2011. They’ve been displaying their allegiance to the cause in tons of ways, one of the more noticeable ones being painting their pinky nails blue. Follow their lead and show the world that mean stops here and mean stops now.
#GangUpForGood at MeanStinks.com and, if you’d like, share your own story involving bullying. While you’re there, you can check out videos, photos and advice from girls just like you. And don’t forget to stop by the campaign’s Twitter and Facebook accounts to learn more info! Join them in their fight against girl-to-girl bullying; you never know whose life you might change.
