We’ve been talking a lot about celebrity couples here on Crushable lately, whether they be couples you forgot happened, couples who met on set, or even the fakest of the fake celebrity couples (allegedly). The thing about those couples is that for the most part, both sides were famous. But if you can believe it, some celebrities actually choose to spend their lives with normal, non-famous people. I KNOW! Crazy, right? Learning about these half famous, half non-famous couples can be very exciting. For one, it shows that Hollywood is not an exclusive, incestuous club where celebrities will only deem other celebrities worthy of their affections. Sometimes it is, but not all the time. And for second, it gives us normals hope that maybe one day we could actually end up marrying our celebrity crushes. So without further ado, I present the eleven cutest half-famous celebrity couples.
1. Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso
Matt Damon has spoken out about how happy he is to have married a normal lady. He told Ellen DeGeneres, “We ended up at a bar where my wife was the bartender. I literally saw her across a crowded room, literally, and eight years and four kids later, that’s my life. I don’t know how else our paths would’ve crossed if that didn’t happen. If all those things didn’t happen.” He and Luciana have been married since 2005.
2. Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth
After a high-profile marriage to fellow celebrity Ryan Phillippe, Reese settled down with talent agent Jim Toth in 2011. As you may or may not remember, Reese and Jim were arrested together earlier this year. You know what they say: “The couple that gets arrested together lasts a couple more years at least.” But seriously, they seem very happy together and I wish them all the best.
3. Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer
Tobey married Jennifer, a jewelry designer, in 2007. Their daughter is named Ruby Sweetheart, and the only thing cuter than that is the way both of them are smizing for the camera in the photo above.
4. Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham

Stedman Graham has many titles, from educator to author to businessman, but the title he’s best known for is Oprah Winfrey’s partner. The two have been together since 1986 but never married. They were engaged back in the early ’90s but eventually decided they’d rather have a “spiritual union.” I think we all know it’s because Oprah’s married to her money. Or to Gayle. Take your pick.
5. Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas

Alec and Hilaria have a bit of an age gap, but that didn’t stop them. Hilaria is a yoga instructor who should probably teach Alec some breathing exercises to calm him down around the paparazzi. Just a suggestion. Oh, and did I mention they just welcomed a baby daughter named Carmen?
6. Anne Hathaway and Adam Schulman
Anne married jewelry designer Adam in 2012. Say what you will about hathahating her, but it’s pretty impressive that she and her hubby are so fashionably coordinated. Scarf, check. Sunglasses, check. Navy jacket, check. Pixie cut, check.
7. Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness
This one’s cheating a bit, because Deborra is in fact an actress, but if we’re being completely honest I don’t think most of us would have known who she was if she weren’t married to Hugh Jackman. And that’s okay, because they’re one of my favorite couples. Mostly because I adore Hugh Jackman, and anyone he deems worthy to marry is okay by me. They married in 1996 and have since adopted two children, Oscar and Ava.
8. Jimmy Fallon and Nancy Juvonen

We started hearing Nancy’s name even more in recent months when she and our favorite late night host Jimmy Fallon shared the news that they had a baby daughter named Winnie Rose. Nancy is Drew Barrymore’s producing partner, and she and Jimmy have been married since 2007.
9. Tina Fey and Jeff Richmond
Tina and Jeff have been married since 2001, and their daughters Alice and Penelope are already two of my favorite people. If you ever want to laugh yourself silly, watch Tina imitate one of them. Jeff composed the music for 30 Rock, and he and Tina are planning a Mean Girls musical. Bow down to them.
10. Ellen Pompeo and Chris Ivery
I love the story of how Ellen met her husband because it’s just so damn down-to-earth. They met in a grocery store. Is it not everyone’s dream to meet their one true love while shopping for frozen foods and pretzels? Or is that just mine? They married in 2007 (which seems to be a very popular year) and have a daughter together named Stella Luna. How cosmic.
11. Patrick Dempsey and Jill Dempsey

Ellen’s onscreen love interest Patrick Dempsey married hairdresser Jill Fink in 1999. And the cutest part is that apparently she still cuts his hair. Say it with me now: AWWW.
