Snooki And 11 Other Celebrities Join The New Dancing With The Stars Cast

Dancing with the Stars

Everyone’s favorite show for catching up with celebrities you haven’t heard from in years, Dancing With the Stars, returns for season 17 on ABC September 16. But before we can get there, we have to hear who all the celebrities are who will be waltzing and thrusting and sometimes just being dragged across the floor by their frustrated partners. The list of cast members usually runs the gamut from “Who in the world is that?” to “Oh, an athlete? I don’t follow sports” to “Oh, that guy! I know him! I think…” This time around there were plenty of rumors swirling about who would be joining the show and who was asked to join the show but may or may not have accepted. TMZ even went so far as to claim they had a few names leaked. Those names pretty much turned out to be correct, because TMZ knows all.

But since Good Morning America has been teasing the reveal for what feels like years now, and since they have that fancy countdown in Times Square, the least we can do is wait for them to make it official, right? Right. So without further ado, here are your new celebrity dancers, this time featuring Snooki!

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi

Keyshawn Johnson

Valerie Harper

Brant Daugherty

Christina Milian

Bill Nye the Science Guy

Elizabeth Berkley

Corbin Bleu

Amber Riley

Bill Engvall

Jack Osbourne

Leah Remini

Let me tell you, the applause on the GMA set when this cast was revealed was… lukewarm. I guess even the fans are like, “Meh, whatever” at this point. But hey, at least I only went “Who?” about one of them… okay, maybe two. That says something, right? I’d like to note that Leah Remini was broadcast on a monitor from Los Angeles, and when they congratulated her all she did was blink sleepily into the camera. It’s also important to mention, on a serious note, that Valerie Harper is joining the cast despite being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer a few months ago. She’s doing well now and is soldiering on. If that’s not inspiring, I don’t know what is.
