Six weeks after losing Cory Monteith, the cast of Glee has come together to film the Finn Hudson memorial episode and oh boy, the feelings. I’m not even a regular Glee watcher and I get sad even thinking about how hard it must be to be a part of this particular episode.
Earlier this month during the Teen Choice Awards, Lea Michele gave an emotional acceptance speech about Cory while wearing a necklace with his name on it. It looks like her character, Rachel Berry, will be wearing something similar during the tribute episode:

Ugh, you guys. So many feelings. Glee creator Ryan Murphy confirmed that the episode will not directly reflect the exact circumstances surrounding Cory Monteith’s death, which we thought was a good idea. Instead, it will not be not revealed how exactly his character Finn Hudson died, but the episode will begin with the news of his death and then moves on to focus on all the characters remembering and mourning him, and celebrating his life. Lea Michele will appear in the final moments of the show, and will possibly sing a song in memory of both Finn and Cory.
Glee co-star Jane Lynch had her own thoughts about the episode earlier this week.

After the tribute episode airs, the Glee cast will take some much-needed time off to regroup emotionally and reconfigure the story arc for the remainder of the season, according to Ryan Murphy.
Based on Murphy’s talents, I have no doubt the episode will be both touching and incredibly well done.
